There better not be any arm wrestling.

A fight in Smallville should be interesting, but I hope there's going to be an even bigger one in Metropolis.

"Let's just... hold hands." ;)

I wouldn't worry, guys. In the grand scheme of things, shooting has ONLY just begun. They're not even done with the IL shooting and still have all of the Vancouver stuff ahead of them. I don't remember specifically when production is supposed to end for them, but it's sometime early next year, right?

There's a lot more film for them to make...

These two videos show closed off streets plus helicopters. Apparently, two helicopters have cameras and are filming the other two helicopters:

I want to see Supes and Zod duke it out among the skyscrapers of Metropolis.

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that it was very difficult to get close and take pics today, but I'm very happy that you enjoy all my other ones that I have taken in the last week!

Thanks for all your hard work.

Here are some photos from today's shoot. The CLOSED SET is very hard to get near and almost impossible to get any pictures of. This is all I could get.

Guys, there's still another two months of shooting left in both Chicago and Vancouver. Just because the first part of filming has focused on Smallville doesn't mean that the entire film is set there. Metropolis is definitely going to be prominent.

Well it could be Smallville but it could also be that other parts for the movie are being filmed in Plano even if they are not about Smallville. If for example, that was Jor-El in the motion capture suit, it could be that he was filming the scene inside the house. There is most likely some sort of green screen inside the house since the Superman suit was in the Smallville house.

I can't believe that we're looking at all these pics, from a movie only just started its shoot... and the damn thing doesn't have a theatrical release until a whole 2 YEARS FROM NOW! Let me sleep until then! this is painful :-(

They are filming in Vancouver for about 4 months or so.

Try and enjoy the anticipation. Before you know it, the poster will be out, then the trailer will be out, the TV spots will start rolling, then the movie will be out, and all the mystery and fun of hoping and waiting will be over, and, for better or for worse, the movie will be revealed for all to see. Then we'll have nothing to do but revel in its awesomeness, or tear apart its awfulness, or both. The bickering and critiquing will set in but, hopefully, it won't take long for them to announce the next film. For now, at least, we know we have a new Superman film on the way.

Yeah, that's quite annoying. They will have been through filming for over a year by the time it's released. Sucks.

In all my life, the only time when I was able to see a Superman movie in the theaters was Superman Returns. I think all fans that were not born or were too little when the Christopher Reeve movies came out should definitely appreciate this because who knows? By the next time there is another Superman movie in theaters it could be another 20 years or whatever it was between Quest for Peace and Returns.

I want to know what the hell Jor-el is doing in smallville...

Did they say Jor-El would be in Smallville?
