I'm just afraid that if Nolan is "building the track" we will just get more of the same with the impending Batman reboot and that's something I don't want
If he really hasn't, then yes it does.

I think some here give Nolan way way too much credit for this, thinking he is almost ´´co-directing`` things from the shadows or something when it's been said before, even by Nolan's wife that this is Snyders film. Nolan is someone who puts all his attention into his movies do you really think he had/has the time to check up on Snyder? And Snyder himself has often referrd to MOS as ´´my Superman``. Cavill has never meet Nolan either. Snyder even got his buddy Kurt Johnstad to do rewrites, no doubt to add some of Snyders ideas into the film.
We all know Nolan had a hand in the story, picking Snyder and so on and im sure Snyder talked to him on different aspects in pre-production meetings, purely as one filmmaker talks to another but this is still Snyder's movie. If MOS turns out great he'll get as much credit as anyone. But I think some Nolanites are trying to spin the story to give Nolan all the credit. I hope they keep this line of thought if MOS turns out to be garbage.![]()

and that means nothing really

Snyder was picked because he needed to prove himself again after the box office failure of Sucker Punch. Nolan said "yeah he can do it"
Then Henry Cavill's screentests from former projects were passed around and Nolan said "yo he is a pretty good actor"
And that's Nolan's involvement.

Michael Shannon has been snapped in a mocap suit, but that's, not him.
So he's an unnamed third villain?
It would be awesome if the unnamed character turns out to be Mongul.
some just refuse to believe that tho....Thomas Tull of Legendary Pictures had one of the biggest hands in getting this project going. Nolan "had" a lot of involvement with the picture at the beginning, scripting phase and casting.
