Yes and also that moving S shield animation that was seen in the Comic-Con teaser. I'm sure that was made for the announcement teaser so I'm guessing when all is said and done the actual time will come in at under 1 minute.

Wait, the green band is included in the runtime of a trailer?

It's not really that unbelievable. Titles, logos, animation, and what zorex said. I count over 35 seconds of non-footage in the original TDKR teaser. And Snyder even called his trailer coming up an "announcement trailer". I'm only speculating of course but it's quite possible.

You purchase time to run a trailer. I don't think they throw in a green band for you.

I dunno what to expect from the teaser, but it'll probably not have much to do with the CC-footage. I think much of that footage might be turned into the first full length trailer if not almost identical to that footage.

If I remember correctly, the first Thor Theatrical trailer was essentially a much trimmed down version of the 5 Minute Preview that debuted at Comic Con for Thor.

Well, that's Marvel. Their PR sucks. It's got not build to it. Their trailers usually just consist of flashy incoherent shots with FX being the focus.

I think MOS will be teased much more. Even the CC-footage didnt show much FX or "epic" shots.

Yes, but I dont think MOS would have so much non footage because its not an established film like DKR. They would probably show us more footage to generate buzz.

I pointed that out in another thread, the actual footage you're going to get isn't going to be 1:27, just like any teaser or trailer.

I am assuming most of what was in that footage will be in the teaser, but then again, what Singer showed at Con...most of it never made the movie...nevermind the teaser.

They may yet, who knows. They might be saving it for release later, after TDKR has had its moment at the box office and everyone's moving on.

They have a year to generate buzz. I expect the first real trailer to be with The Hobbit or The Superbowl. The fact that he said it was an announcement trailer tells us not to expect much. It will only tease and leave us wanting more. And in doing that, it will do its job. People are going to walk away from the Friday trailer thinking "geez I can't wait to see the actual trailer". No joke.

I don't know what I'm excited more to see the Dark Knight Rises or The Man of Steel Trailer. I just hope we get some decent footage. 45 seconds to a minute and I will be happy.
