I like the suit very much, I don't like the rubber lining around the collar and cape... it makes it look very stiff. That's very nitpicky-ish though and will not detract from my enjoyment of the movie at all.

I find this funny because I'v complained that it look to flimsy when he moves because of what I've seen in set pics.

For what it's worth, here are my few shots of the costume from SDCC. Sadly, I didn't have a polarized lens on me, but even more disappointing was the suit's set-up at the booth. It was positioned awkwardly perpendicular to the main throughway going along the booth, and cordoned off so you couldn't get up face-to-face with it. It felt as if it were placed there as an afterthought.

Anyway, nothing that we haven't seen a bunch of already, but regardless, here they are.

One thing I haven't said before about the suit is how interesting the colour of the bodysuit is to me. It looks pretty dull in person, both in colour and reflectivity. In photographs, though, it becomes a variety of blues and gains a much more dynamic look. I'm sure that will come in handy on-screen.

Those shots are awesome the red looks more vibrant here than on previous pics

Those are very nice. Thanks.

It's a strong red, but, in person, it's not nearly as vibrant as, say, the Reeve cape. It's eeeeever so slightly more muted. I do think, though, that it's going to appear very bold and very striking on film. You can only trust the photos of the costume so much, because each will portray it a bit differently than the rest. Like I said, in person it looks more flat, not as reflective or dynamic, but through pictures it gains way more life.

Can't wait for WB to release the trailer so we can see how the suit looks. I saw the Comic con trailer but was hard to see as usual

WOW! Those shots of the suit are fantastic! It looks even better that I realized.

i still don't get the Aquaman design, around his torso

I'm actually really digging the feel and tone of the movie so far... maybe to the point of trumping my gripes with all the changes made to the mythos. Still hate the chainmail look and lack of trunks though... I wonder if the costume would have turned out differently if the lawsuit hadn't happened.

I'm doubting it would have. MOS isn't the only costume attempting new, trunk-less designs. Check out the New 52, Smallville, and Injustice costumes. Besides that, other, more in-the-know posters have commented that the movie is making use of elements that were already developed for past Superman movie attempts, including the costume (apparently, the plane rescue sequence in Returns was pulled from the same collection of accumulated materials). I'd say that, at the very least, a trunk-less costume was inevitable. I'm just glad it the changes didn't go much further.

Is changing the design of the suit somewhat a change to the mythos?

Hm, interesting, but I was under the impression that all of DC's superman properties were affected by the lawsuit, hence the redesigns in all their titles

Gilbert Gottfried is playing Lana..........

I'm holding out until the HD version.

Really? Bootleg?

Same here, it's HD or bust for me!
Problem is, the Comic Con trailer won't be released online. Granted, the teaser that we get with TDKR will probably have SOME of the footage that was shown in the Comic Con trailer, but it won't be all of it. Simply because of the run time. The Comic Con trailer was about 2 and a half minutes long, and the teaser showing with TDKR clocks in at 1:27.

Indeed; and we also have to remember that the logos and title will be a part of that 1:27 duration.:csad:
