Huh; i wasn't aware that we had somewhat higher resolutions of these pictures available. Either that or someone was able to really magnify these pictures while still preserving its quality:

So is it a decently safe bet that Zod's armor is simply a black version if Jor-El's (the action figure)? The collar and shoulder pieces look identical.

Similar. I wouldn't say identical. But it's gonna be very close to that yeah. Zod's armor looks to have more sharper, edgier looking details.

still waiting for better quality, but in the mean time i fixed it up

Its long but beefy, it def does NOT compare to Henry's neck in this pic, it's skinny and goes on for MILES! lol

It's funny on how this is one of the very few pictures of Henry in full costume (with the cape attached on) where he's shown to be smiling.lol

Henry's only smiling cause he thinks he's holding onto a living breathing British Flag! That kid is DECKED OUT!!! lol

I hope he smiles like that at least once in the movie. That'd do a LOT for the moody approach.

Same here, hope Henry brings a lot of carisma and confidence to the roll like Reeve did, carisma and confidence really makes Sups character. That was my main issue with Routh, he brought absolutely NO carisma to the roll.

And he never really smiled properly, only half-assed. Reeve smiled as if there were no tomorrow and even to this day it still feels genuine and it gives comfort. No 70s camp about that smile at all.

So yeah, smiling gets you far. :)

Could not agree more! The only cool genuine smurk I seen out of Routh was after the crook shot him in the eye and the bullet bounced off, what a great smurky smile Routh gave. Other then that scene, Routh's sups was as lifeless as a dead man in a Sups costume.

I agree. Smilers are cool. :word:

When exactly was that page published?

It's from the great 1973 origin story The Origin of Superman. Swan developed his Supes with time, his 70s Supes is my favorite.

They so should have had both Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and also Laurence Fishburne in this picture as well... My GOD! What a cast!! :woot:

Exactly, that's what I love most about the picture, it's all Kryptonian! :awesome:
