To me, this is how it should be

Perfecto!

a speech bubble over Hulk saying "Puny Titan" would be cute.
Just before Thanos grabs Thor by the ankles and uses him as a bat to knock Hulk out haha.

Did someone suggest he be as big as Hulk? Ive never seen him that big.

During Thanos Imperative, his size kept changing, one time he had a few inches on Drax. The next issue, he was big enough to palm Mar-Vell, looking like he was 12 feet tall.

Honestly, I think Thanos over 8 feet tall just looks silly

lol poor thor

He's only listed as 6'7 on Marvel wiki, not that I'm saying that makes it official in the MCU.

Thor is 6'6 so that picture above isn't too far off.

When I say making him small I mean something like what happened with Michael Chiklis & Jessica Alba in the "Fantastic Four" movies where they were the same height.

I want Thanos to at least look huge even if he's not CGI. It just takes some great camerawork....like with Tom Hardy & Bane. I was able to believe he was a huge guy because they made sure he looked that way in every sequence & instance.

I'm not really concerned with him being bigger than the Hulk, it's just that with villains like Thanos their physical presence is just as important as what will actually be going on in the performance & how the design will be.

The Thing is shorter than Reed so what was the problem? I think he did have a few inches on Sue - or maybe she had on heels...

The Thanos make-up looked great at the end of the Avengers, so why not stick with what works? He could tower over the Hulk and still be a make-up - they did that sort of thing in the Lord of the Rings movies all the time...

with hemsworth being 6-4. I'd say movie Thor is probably around the same. I tried to make Thanos seem about 7 feet tall there.

Yeah, there's no way in Hell that Thor and Hulk should be able to handle Thanos on their own. Heck, if Thanos is even a fraction as powerful as his CB counterpart, then he should be able to kill all six original Avengers by himself in under five minutes. Personally, I'd like it to be the original six, plus any new Avengers added along the way, plus the GOTG, plus any misc heroes that are around (War Machine, Falcon, Luke Cage, Daredevil, etc) and maybe even elements of SHIELD and the Nova Corps, ALL teaming up to take on Thanos and any followers that he may have working for him. Heck, I'd even have Loki show up to help out, if only to save his own skin. A truly epic finale.

I dunno who read Infinity, but this was such an awesome panel. To see something like this would be awesome I think haha.

Forgot to add would be great to see Thor do that, and immediately after Thanos just gets up turns and grins.

Would love for Loki to get the Mephisto role in A3. Not an exact translation, of course, but something along those lines.

Basically have him start off at Thanos' side at first, and be all "hey, **** the universe... hell yea!" But later as Thanos' actions become more and more depraved and insane in scope, Loki starts to reconsider in a "um, I didn't sign up for this... this level of evil is more than even I can stomach" kind of way and then finally when the wheels come off completely, decides Thanos needs to be taken down, and plays a small but vital part in helping the Avengers (and their allies) overthrow the Mad Titan.

Shaq for Thanos. Height and proportions work perfectly. :)

fixxxer, that sounds good but I also wouldn't mind if Loki really sacrifices himself once and for all before the heroes take Thanos down similar to the Siege event.

Personally, I'm all Loki'd out...
Hey, we're talking all the way till Avengers 3. :) Plus, it would be much more of a peripheral role. An important one, but peripheral.

What? No. He's human dude.

Just like all the eternals are, they are super humans. Evolutionary off-shoots of humanity created by the celestials. The Eternals are humans, super humans, but they are humans.

Thanos, was born an eternal, while possessing the deviant gene, altering his physiology from that of other eternals. Are mutated humans any less of humans? No. He's still an eternal, which are still essentially evolved humans.

I wouldn't want Thanos more than 7 and a half feet tall. He's an intellectual. I don't want a big ass brute monster on screen. Cause anyone who knows Thanos, knows he's not just a brick. He's a master schemer, incredibly cunning, possesses vast knowledge of the universe, and arguably the greatest mind of the marvel universe.

If we're going by that logic then every alien race resembling humans might as well just be called humans. :o

Thanos is an extraterrestrial mutant with purple skin & a face closely resembling a Skrull as well as Darkseid. Nothing human about that.

I'd have to say no thanks to this. Loki has already worked with Thanos, who gave him an entire army to command. I'd rather they just keep Loki to the Thor movies or his own spinoff should that happen.

And Shaq as Thanos?

That would be worse than Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze.

No. haha. You can't go by physiology to determine if something is human or not. Physiology doesn't matter. He's a mutated eternal. Eternals are human beings because they were created by tampering with human beings. Thanos is mutated. Technically, he's human. He's an extraterrestrial, who looks very different, but he's still biologically human

They still haven't paid off the Other's threat to Loki that Thanos would make him suffer if he failed. So they need to do that.

Hopefully that doesn't just fall into the background

Show me a scan where it specifically states that the Eternals are an offshoot of humans & I'll side with it...because this is literally the first I've ever heard of this from anyone.

I don't think that's ever going to come to fruition.

A joke. Based on the fact that he's about as close as you can get to Thanos' proportions and still be human.

The fact that Thanos views Loki as an abject failure is why I think it would work extremely well. Thanos keeps Loki around as a lark... like he did Mephisto in the IG comics. Basically a lackey meant to marvel at Thanos' dark machinations.

Not to mention Loki has already paid his debt to The Other and Thanos by providing them with the Aether at the end of Thor: TDW. So that plot thread has ended.

Ah damn....... I did not know that... Oh well.
