With the Sinister six looming and word of a new Venom film coming, isn't it time to introduce the symbiote suit into the mix of the next ASM film?

Alien or Father's invention?

Father invention. With the way the series is going, it makes the most sense.

No. The Symbiote suit was in Spider-Man 3 so it doesn't need to be in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. SM3 came in 2007 so it's too soon to have the black suit in movie posters again. We comic fans would like to see the Venom storyline again but from the general audience perspective it is too soon.

What if we got a comic accurate version similar to how they did in ASM2?

Would you rather Venom just show up first with out Peter having any interaction with it first? Somethings got to happen, the Venom film is happening. It's a part of Sony's larger universe.

Keep symbiotes as far away from the Spidey movies as possible.

Not only that, but it was an unpopular adaptation, which would make the audience even less enthusiastic about seeing it again.

Bringing back the Symbiote and Venom should be saved for when the series is on a firm footing again, not when the series is already dealing with enough problems with declining revenues.

The #1 concern for Sony right now needs to be winning back the audience that they've lost with their previous three films. Bringing back the Symbiote in the next film won't do that and would probably make things worse.

Yes I want the symbiote but it would be tricky seeing as Raimis 3rd movie already did it

I personally feel you can't do venom without the black suit story, they just need to be done back to back

No, ASM 1 & 2 were awful films anyways, so no need to tarnish Venom.

In Spiderman 3 We only saw Spiderman wear the black suit for 3 scenes and thats probably 5 minutes overall

I'm fed up with this argument "it's been used before" I'm pretty sure different comic book writers has used the symbiote storyline(Ultimate) again even the different cartoons but if you want to reuse it you have to do it differently

By the time this movie is released it would have been 9 years since Spider-Man 3 or even 10 years if the rumours of a push back is true so it wouldn't seem too soon plus they are doing a Venom movie and we need to get the character right I hope that symbiote doesn't just randomly bond to Eddie Brock for no reason They Call themselves Venom for a reason

I feel like there is other source material to use and explore than going to the symbiotes

True but it was all over posters and marketing of the movie. I don't think it would be smart to do it again.

Look Spiderman 3 was an average movie at best if they decide to reuse the Symbiote again for this next movie it wouldn't be that hard to top and if it turns out to be good then everybody will forget about The Spiderman 3 version

If it serves the story... yes, definitely. Sony wants Venom. It's only a matter of time before they bring him back.

My only request is that we get the classic symbiote look:

By far one the coolest looking hero designs. I really hated that in SM3, they just used a black repainted original suit. Really lazy design choice.

Especially since Raimi toyed with the idea of the classic design but rejected it for whatever reason:

Bring in Eddie Brock, leave out the Symbiote for now.
