That worries me. I know we are going to see other realms. But I hope it doesnt take place on earth, with like..15 minutes of other world footage. I hope there is A LOT taking place in other realms

What I meant was that Tom may have zeroed in on the London scenes because he was speaking to a UK audience, as in "and hey, some of it takes place in our backyard!"

Those are mighty shoes to fill indeed! I enjoyed a lot of her posts when I started lurking here. I don't have that level of enthusiasm, but will do my best to procure a nice pix of Mr. Tom now and then!

Lol but they aren't, and here's why. well here's just a warning lol. Don't try to fill her shoes A lot of the Loki/Tom fans liked it. I could cope, But her posting pissed off a lot of posters here, a good 90% of frequent Thor/MCU posters, who abandoned the Thor boards entirely because of her overly long enthusiastic posts, and some of them made it clear, some not so nicely.

So it'd be a good idea to just be yourself, because as enthusiastic as she was, aside from myself, and a few others, she was generally a pretty hated poster around here unfortunately. So to try respect generally accepted message board conduct around here and try not to blow up threads and designate yourself, THE leader of a thread lol. It's a self inflicted burden that is clearly frowned upon

I didn't realize she was that hated. That's sad. We all come from different backgrounds and knowledge of comics and the stories that inspired them. I like reading everyone's points of view and her long posts often had some interesting things to think about even if I didn't agree with all of it. Fandoms come and go, you should make the most of it when it's popular.

Pfft...I didn't mind Elizah's posts at all. I've read much harsher posts from people than hers.

I didn't either, hers weren't harsh whatsoever. It's just that people were annoyed at how stubborn she was and how often she posted, she had twice as many posts as everyone else combined in the thor boards since she joined. I personally didn't mind her posting, I ignored it when I could as it was too much to follow, but if it was pushing a lot of posters away, then it's a bit understandable.

She didn't have any comic backround whatsoever, while she did have enthusiasm, I think a lot of people sort of stereotyped her as a "Loki fangirl", a person who never read comics, telling life long comic readers that they are wrong set off a lot of people. That's how it seemed to me. That and the amount of posts, but that's in the past, and everyone here is generally well respected, but I am just sayin, try not to constantly blow things up :P

as for your "while it's popular"

its a bit early, but I think at this point, the MCU will definitally be considered an all time classic at some point.

Tom Hiddleston confirmed that he was flying to New York for the MTV Movie Awards and we have also had confirmation that he's sitting next to Chris Evans. It could be just that he's nominated or that they already know he's going to win or that he'll be presenting.

However, he WILL be on screen so I'm happy. It would be even better to have him AND Clark Gregg but at least these awards should go a lot better than People's Choice and Nick Awards.

Just watching the MTV Awards, and Tom pretty much snatched a mike from Sam Jackson!

Well, fair as fair: the Avengers vs. Loki just won Best Fight, so I think Loki gets to say a few well-chosen words, something like "I'm happy to be hulk-smashed every day of the week!"

Well no, that would not be a good thing. But considering some little hints and comments he's made here and there I wouldn't believe that Tom has an ego at all. He's just taking advantage of all the attention and having a little fun for as much a time as it may last. But it seems to me that the attention he gets for a big project like The Avengers, while nice, can't compare with his own personal achievements like his work on the BBC's Hollow Crown and his participation with UNICEF. I think we can conclude that the man is not stuck on himself.

Like many, I love Tom Hiddleston and he was great on the MTV awrads show but why not mention Thor The Dark World while talking about Loki??? He missed a huge audience and chance... "Check out more Loki in November" or something like that in place the dog's name stuff. I'll bet anything Kevin Fiege was at home saying the same thing to his TV screen.
