Again lol, 4 years ago, hearing people being disappointed because Loki looks unattractive is something I figured would NEVER happen lol. Oh Tom, why does your looks cause blind faith?

You know...in the comics Loki's level of looks depended upon who was drawing him. For instance in the Ultimate line Loki looks very Tom Hiddleston like.

That seriously looks like my hair when I wake up. >_<

He looks like a filler vampire from twilight.

I.went.there.

Now that you mention it, that wig does look pretty similar to the wig he wears in his vampire role.

I sense a conspiracy!!! Either that or Tom really digs that hairstyle. Wouldn't surprise me if he wears wigs like that as a disguise...so be nice to tha scraggly haired guy because it might be Tom.

The trailer was okay, just tired of seeing supervillain in a big glass box again.. And Loki said almost the exact same thing in the Avengers, "how desperate are you" or "you must be desperate".

I'm hoping the "you must be desperate line" is changed for the film. Perhaps its just an early cut in the trailer. Like some of Mandarins lines in the first IM3 trailer.

Also I hope he's been kept in the Isle of Silence and this one is more of a holding chamber.

After watching the trailer I feel like someone is going to die. I think it's Loki to be honest. The scene in the trailer at 1:24 where someone falls to their knees, I believe is Loki. If I was going to take a guess he is going to die saving his brother but also part of me thinks Thanos will save him at the last second or something. And from there we will see them in scene after the credits. Once again it's just a feeling I have no proof what so ever.

Pretty sure that is Thor in that scene, as the fabric of the vambraces is red.
Which doesn't mean that Loki won't die in the film, I just really think that specific shot is right before Thor's epic "NOOOO" moment. Or right after.

It`s Thor in his armor (why on earth Loki wear red? It`s his anti-color) AND in his scene.

Your right, my bad. When it's all happening in the trailer I didn't see the red but now that there are photos out I can see it's Thor.

Maybe Thor catches Jane and Loki kissing and wipes them out in a lightning bolt that makes the one in Avengers look like static.
Then hooks up with Sif immediately. Yeah.

I thought he looked like Charles Manson but now people mention it yeah he does look like Tommy Wiseau!

I don't think we'll be that fortunate.

I hope Loki gets to flex more of his magic prowess and mischief in this film, he certainly has good reason too.

I immediately thought of Jim Morrison.

And then that made me think that he was definitely inspired by Only Lovers Left Alive.

I don't see why they would kill off Loki again. We saw his tragic death in Thor and then his comedic Hulk smashing in Avengers, it would just get old if it's in every movie.

^ Loki didn't die after being smashed by the Hulk, he wasn't even unconscious and he was fine when Thor took him back to Asgard.

Another tweet from Hiddleston, same vein as the one I mentioned in my review of the trailer in the News/Speculation thread, but I figured I'd post it here anyways:

To all dedicated cognoscenti & aficionados of THOR and THE DARK WORLD: all will be revealed. In time.
And if, like me, you don't know what "cognoscenti" means:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cognoscenti

co·gno·scen·ti [kon-yuh-shen-tee, kog-nuh-]
plural noun, singular co·gno·scen·te [-tee].
persons who have superior knowledge and understanding of a particular field, especially in the fine arts, literature, and world of fashion.
It pays to follow him on twitter... you learn new words :oldrazz: *lol*

I've heard Sirius Black a few times today. I thought Johnny Weir (the figure skater) but apparently people were saying that back before TA came out.

I'm interested to see what (if anything) Loki has said (or not said) about his former allies/employers/manipulative-space-alien-friends. Do you think he will have said anything about The Other or Thanos to Thor or Odin? My first thought would be not, at least for now. I can't imagine the whole experience was particularly pleasant and I don't really see Loki warning them unless he thought it would benefit him in some way. Still, I wonder if Odin or Thor know who Loki was working for or if that information will only come to light closer to whenever those characters make their return.

Sorry, but I love the "desperate" line. Paying homage to the Avengers scene is perfect. Plus Thor's response is perfect. He's done ****ing around with Loki.

Thor needs Loki because Malekith is a master of magic and Thor is not. Loki is, so he knows that he is the only one who can help. None of the other asgardians have this power, and Thor's strength is not enough.

I love how Thor says "when you betray me", not "if". He's learned his lesson.

Yeah, I love the "desperate" line too. Someone on another board (not SHH) was complaining about hearing the 'same line' (not exactly first of all) from Avengers and for me, that seems like it's the point! I loved it.

And yeah, I noticed the "when" instead of "if" as well. He's come to terms with what his brother has become and knows that he can't turn his back on him. Like Hemsworth said in the recent USA Today article "it allows us to explore the underlying complexities of their relationship. It really ends up being a kind of chess match."

This is going to be so much fun to watch, I can't WAIT!!!

I bet if Tom has watched The Room he'd do a hilarious Tommy Wiseau impression. If anyone goes to a convention he'll be at you must remark how much Loki looks like the other infamous Tommy, and if Tom knows what you're talking about you must ask him to do a line from The Room.
