Samantha Barks tweeted that Friday was her first day of filming at Pinewood. The "students" don't start until Monday in Greenwich. I wonder if she performed "On My Own" since she's by herself there?

Has anyone seen Lea Salonga as Eponine? I wish I could've had the chance to see her live.

As for that picture of Hathaway, I guess it is her look after Fantine sold her hair away for her daughter.

Speaking of hair, something that has always bothered me about the 10th and 25th anniversary concerts: Fantine and Cosette's hair don't match.

10th: Blonde Fantine, brunette Cosette
25th: Brunette Fantine, blonde Cosette

Since Amanda is blonde, it makes me wonder if it'll be the same way in the movie, or if they'll dye her hair or wig her.

I had the same thought about the finale, if they keep it the same way we're used to. I assume she would be back to being beautiful so the long hair would be back. Either they already filmed her scene for that before she cut it or they will wig her like they are now wigging Hugh as the mayorl

Hair color - I don't think that matters too much in the stage version - in the touring show I saw, Valjean was African-American

My only concern about them wigging Hugh is that, I've learned from the X-Men films, that Hugh looks terrible in wigs. Though that's most likely because the Wolverine wigs themselves are terrible.

Yeah, it was bad, and terribly inconsistent. If you pay close attention it literally looked like 3-4 different wigs, ranging from different shades of brown.

I'm hoping they make Seyfried brunette. She's one of those actresses that looks good with all hair colors.

Maybe if Rufelle is on set around the same time, they want to take advantage of that and have her "coach" Barks (be it in regards to the nature of the character or to the song itself)?

She may not be the greatest singer, but she definitely is the most emotive Eponine. She deserved all the awards she won (am I correct in thinking she's the only cast member to win a Tony?)

I kind of wish they would incorporate the Bishop in the finale. He was there originally and was replaced with Eponine (most likely for prettier harmonies). And as far as I know (I haven't read the book, so I may be 100% wrong) Valjean sees the Bishop with Fantine in the book as he dies. Marius asks Jean if he would like a priest to read him his last rights and he essentially says "No thank you, I've already got one".

As previously said, I haven't read the book so I may be WAAAY wrong, but that's what I heard. Maybe someone here has read the book and could correct me if I'm wrong
