Total newbie here.

There are geniuses in this forum! I just spent the last couple of hours browsing through this manip thread (as well as its 168-pages previous incarnation), and I am in total awe! So much creativity and talent and hard work and generosity, keep going guys: it's wonderful!

Tell me if I'm out of line here, but I've got an image that, I think, would do an awesome manip. It's supermodel Brett Hollands in very tight long johns. If you ask me, he's got the perfect Superman body. And I figured the uniform black color might make it easier to create the manip (but maybe I'm wrong, cause I don't really know how it's done). So here it is, in the hope that it might inspire some of you artists!

I found this over in the original thread.

I believe the one on the right looks a lot beter then the original version of the suit. I think what coould make it better is removing the plastic \S/ and replacing it with a velvet one similar to what Dean Cain's suit had. Not sure if it would look better with the lower neckline or not.

I'd also change the boots to look more like the Chris Reeves suit boots, but using this same texture. At least those would be my ideas. I'd also change the belt to look more like a solid piece instead of having the pentagon.

I don't think it's THAT bad.. it's alright, the only two things i dont like is the color of red they chose (like seriously, its brown!), and the shield (I think they should've just stuck the original \S/) whether it was a rubber shield on the costume or not.

The SR suit wasnt the worst I've seen, all they had to do was take the S off the belt buckle, lighten the red, and make the S smaller and look like it had been sewn on.

The one big problem I had with the suit was that it didnt look like something that a little old lady from Kansas would make with a sewing machine or Clarks help. It looks like Clark paid off a professional to make it for him or something.

In fact, you're not! I didn't mind it either. I remember that the explanation that Singer gave about the suit, right from the beginning was that the suit used in SR was supposed to be a new suit that Clark made himself using Kryptonian technology in the fortress, hence the material not being ripped to shreds when Clark was being shot with that rather large chain gun. That being said, I do think that the red should have been a bit lighter, and the "s" on the belt seems like a bit much (the s-shield shape is fine--but the actual letter has always bothered me.

For me I really hated the materials, suit/cape where. The muted colors, the 3d plastic shield and exessive amount of mini s's all over the suit. The boots style, small neckline. Really I have nothing good to say about it at all. And I really hope snyder costume designers choose the right colors platte, materials, and design the suit to fit cavill body right. To work with his shape and definition.

we dont know really right now, personally i hope its more then cgi, so it can be easier you know for tom/others to interact with and phsyically fight and all. If anything it will probably be a stunt guy. Probably even either of the dudes who where persdauder or doomsday monster suit. Or some other random guy.

before I post stuff I gotta ask, is it cool if I post "fan art" of in game concepts that I made?

see my username "JosephCAW", the CAW is now the sound of a bird, its "Create A Wrestler" a term from the games SmackDown vs. RAW, I've made Tom Welling in every version so far and one of the suit I made him in is the Superman suit.........long story short can I post those on here?
