for those who wanted to see the famous and awesome manip with the SR symbol, here is one i whipped up, keep in mind im not the best at this.

I always wanted to see this from my mind into reality, but I don't have te tools to do so: keeping with this revised jacket, I would like it if Welling wore this (make the blue darker and yellow gold?) with the red cape (leather too) attached to it (on the sides to the neck collar, or inbetween the neck collar and shoulders), with black or dark blue pants (leather?) with either dark red leather boots (workboots, that do exist), or black boots with the top part red.

Could someone make that, please? I want to see it because, chances are, they could've done that instead, and we would've had Welling as Smallville's Superman as that might;ve been THE costume for the show instead of the SR costume, just as much as Welling wearing this, making him "Superman", before he gets the SR costume, making him Superman.

I think they purposefully avoided on making the jacket blue, along with the S red AND yellow since they probably wanted to avoid getting too close to the look and colors of the iconic costume until Clark was ready to wear the suit.

I can see where you're coming from but with The Daily Planet in the background you know where you are

keep in mind I did not make that manip, all credit goes to man of steel in this wonderful work, i just put the superman returns s on his chest as some have asked. i intend on getting cracking on some of my own manips when i have some time:P

PS in the old thread somewhere man of steel did put up one during daylight but the colours dont work as well i feel, his suit really pops in this setting

I think the best we would get is a shirt rip, but I really hope we see the Supes logo on him for real, and not just some manip of him like they've done in the part.

But speaking of which, it is really strange how we haven't seen the cover yet.
