The Shield vs. The Wyatts was amazing last night. It was the first really good match on Raw in a year, if not several years.

Don't tell me you're ignoring that string of epic tag matches with The Rhodes Bros, Bryan and Orton's last two matches, Cena vs Punk, Punk vs Jericho, Bryan vs Rollins etc from last year are you?

I've never been impressed by either Rhodes. The other matches you mentioned were only so-so (I thought Punk-Cena had too much Cena sloppiness to be great), although I might have missed Bryan-Rollins. Nothing is coming to mind right now.

The last really good match I remember before last Monday was Cena-HBK in 2007. Maybe there is something I'm forgetting, but WWE has left me flat in recent years.

Also Cena-Cesaro from a few weeks back.

You're also forgetting Bryan vs Cesaro

Yeah, IMO there's probably been more memorable matches on Raw in the past year than in any other one-year period of WWE TV, so I'm a little surprised at that statement.

Hell, just The Shield six-man tags alone have produced some awesome matches: vs. Ryback, Sheamus & Jericho, vs. Taker & Team Hell No, vs. Kofi & Team Hell No, vs. The Wyatts... I'm probably forgetting some others too.

Then you've got matches like Bryan/Rollins, Bryan/Cesaro in the gauntlet, Bryan/Orton Street Fight, Cesaro/Cena... yeah, there's been plenty of awesome Raw matches in the last year alone.

Or Bryan vs (Insert name)

I would love to see another program between Bryan and Big Show. Preferably over the world championship.

I wonder how much longer they're going to keep the big gold around. My guess is post Mania we will be left with just the big logo belt.

Although this time, I'm not sure it would be as fun - I loved it when Bryan was the cocky *****e who would do anything to win, so I'm not sure plucky underdog Bryan would be nearly as entertaining against the giant.

What bigger challenge for an underdog than to beat a giant for the wwe title?,It would entertain me to see D-Bry hit the knee plus on Big show as the crowd goes crazy with the Yes chants

To each his own - at this point, I'd rather them not continually rehash matches. There's plenty of fresher matchups for Bryan to go up against than to be subjected to a Big Show feud. And I like Big Show, I just think that he's done basically everything there is to do in WWE and faced nearly every top guy already there. It's not entirely his fault, but he hasn't been an interesting character in ages. They use him a certain way and that's pretty much it. I liked his placement against the Shield at WM last year though, he's a selfless performer and working with younger guys is probably the best place for him at this point.

Rehashing matches continuously is why crowds are bored during matches like Cena/Orton and Sheamus/Christian, even ADR/Ziggler.

I wish they'd just make a version of big gold with a giant network logo slapped on the front of it.

Where is that from and where can I watch it?

It's like, law that X-Seven and 19 are considered the best Mania PPVs of all time.

The former has, IMO, the greatest WrestleMania main event of all time.

Look at the cards, man. WWE can't top that although I will say IMO V is the best Wrestlemania of the classic era and XXIV is the best one from the PG Era since that started in 2008.

WM5? :barf: If anything, 3 is the best of the classic era and arguably the defining WrestleMania.

XXIV is a great show. Also, I think XXVI is a tad underrated.

The sad thing is that WM 30 COULD have been a great card on paper and potentially delivered something on par. Here's what my dream card would have looked like:

The Brotherhood vs. The Usos vs. The Real Americans (TLC)

Big E vs. Christian vs. Sheamus vs. Mark Henry (IC Title)

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

AJ Lee vs. Tamina (Divas Title)

Dolph Ziggler vs. Triple H

CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar (The Best vs. The Beast II)

The Undertaker vs. John Cena

Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

There's no reason that card couldn't have happened if built properly. Slotting Ziggler into the "company is holding me down" slot against HHH frees up Punk for a rematch with Brock, which allows Taker vs. Cena to happen at the biggest Mania ever, and Bryan could get his deserved spot in the title match after being continually screwed over (and yes, they still could have let Batista win the Rumble). And then you have the undercard, where you could have saved Wyatts vs. Shield for the big show instead of EC... ah well.

There's still a chance that Mania could be a good show, but there's a lot of missed opportunities since the start of this year, which makes it all sting that much more.

Random question time:

For guys who are likely/pretty much locks to be future HOF inductees, who would you like to see induct them?

For example, I would be happy seeing, in different years/ceremonies, of course, Undertaker and Kane induct each other.

If Lesnar were to go in, the perfect guy would be Paul Heyman.

For Scott Hall, it SHOULD be DDP, but I could accept Nash or Michaels.

I hope Trips inducts Benoit. :o

In real life: has anyone heard who's supposed to induct Lita this year? I'm assuming Edge gets the nod, but has anything been confirmed yet?

I'm hoping Trish gets the call.

I already asked for the day off. Just going to this for Liger.
I miss the days when I could request off from work. I'll know closer to April if I can go or not, so hopefully tickets aren't sold out by then.

Triple H will induct any Kliq member. I'd kind of like to see X-Pac induct Hall.

Taker and Kane should induct each other

Edge should induct Christian

Who will induct John Cena when it is time?
