I think there are too many Starbucks Coffees. Its like everywhere you go you run into a coffee shop under the Starbucks brand mantle. Hello? Do we really NEED this many Starbucks Coffees? My cousin told me she was in a Target where there was a Starbucks, and just five miles down the road there was another Starbucks? What?! Too soon! Hello?

I'm sorry but I think there are TOO MANY STARBUCKS COFFEE SHOPS out there!

... I like Starbucks. There can never be too many. That's like saying there's too many Walgreens...

there is this one street where i live there is a starbucks on one end, literally 5 minutes walking distance (10 seconds driving), there is another on the other side of the street. LITerally 5 freakin MINUTES walking distance, less than a block

and the across the street from THAT, there is Barnes and Noble, which has a Starbucks in it....

but hey, theyre pretty good cant complain. :woot:

Have you ever been to Seattle? Sooooo many Starbucks. One day I tried to count how many I saw but I lost count at like 30. That was after about five or ten minutes mind you.

Lewis Black had something about Starbucks in one of his concerts. He went to Houston, and at this one intersection, there is a Starbucks across the street from another Starbucks. He wondered who could be the target audience for something like that and then offered his answer: people with Alzheimer's.

And yes, I probably ruined it. I don't have it memorized nor do I have that particular CD handy

Another one's being built a block away from me. This is like the 10th within 8 square blocks mind you.

Starbucks doesn't know the meaning of "over saturating a market"

After working in a coffee shop that serves...actual high quality coffee and gaining a new appreciation for the craft, I can not enter a Starbucks anymore.

Starbucks is the equivalent of McDonald's for Coffee :down

I think the first place that happend was 1960 and Jones Rd, where there is a Cici's Pizza and 24 Hr Fitness competeing for souls on the same strip.

I remember this cute little drive through coffee shop next to this gas station. Bright yellow walls, tiled roof--the works. It was small, about half the size of a 7-11. Had a rustic feel to it. Very cute.

It was next to the gas station so people who just got their car washed could drive up, order a cup, and be on their way. It was a nice little business.

Month later, Starbucks moves in. Glass walls, stainless steel--the works.

The cute little store is covered with moss now. Seriously.

What do you expect from a city that gave birth to Starbucks? I was in Asia recently and there are Starbucks everywhere there too!

In the mall across from my school, there's a McDonalds in Wal-Mart and another in the food court. Then up the street about 10 minutes is another McDonalds. Then up the street for about 5 minutes... yep, another. Seeing franchise chains in such close proximity to each other isn't much of a shock for me.

Too many Starbucks? I have two in my hometown...

...and 15 Dunkin Donuts...

Don't worry. Now that the thought police have taken down smoking and fast food, I'm sure coffee is moving into their crosshairs.

There's like, 3 or more in Athens. God only knows how many in Atlanta, most of which I've never seen.
