The dark knight takes it all in my opinion, nothing PWNS the bat-man, except the joker! But i agree generally speaking Spidey 3 is the biggest film in years, i think it will beat pirates financially, but shrek 3 will ultimatly make more money, never underestimate the power of loads and loads of little children rushing to see this film over and over again.

To me Transformer toys are the most popluar, then the show, then the comic books. I got a Transformers graphic novel and it's very dark and gritty the way I like my comic books. But I would never call the movie a comic book movie because the movie is not be adapted from the comic.
