Toy Story 4

Gabby is the bad guy. Or is she?

They needed that Bo Peep closure. People have actually said this.

The trailer was ok, but it didn't stir any excitement in me. Seems all sort of unnecessary. Feels like we've been over this territory before. New toy is introduced which is the cause of the drama, Woody goes missing again and the other toys go looking for him, Woody feels he could bring joy to other kids etc etc. And Forky seems like a gimmick character.

Toy Story 3 felt like the perfect closure to the story. I hope they have something worth telling to continue from that because the trailer didn't show anything to suggest they do.

Feels empty and hollow for such a high profile franchise. With the marketing and such they have done so far nothing has interested me and rhe story looks kind of generic and uneeded. Best comparison can be pirates 4 where you know it should have ended at 3 but they made another just to cash in on the name and the excitement just wasnt there.

Maybe also in the back of my mind the drama that went on with the massive rewrite plays a part.

I do wonder how many people calling it unnecessary realize that this was said about both sequels so far.

Im saying it because the the trilogy came to a logical conclusion. Part 3 was clamored for years because the story felt incomplete and the journey in 3 ended the way it began in the original with the toys finding a new child to serve there purpose and Andy moving on into adulthood.

No matter how you spin it part 3 had one of the most finality feels to a series I can think of next to harry potter or lord of the rings

I've definitely outgrown this series. Unpopular opinion I know, but I found the third one to be too heavy-handed and treacly, especially its ending.

There's an Up easter egg on the poster!

trailer was ok. Did not feel any urge to see this, though.

Meh this series really shoud've ended as a trilogy. Trailer didn't interest me that being said I ill probably just see it anyway

Added note those Dummy Henchman so remind me of Slappy the Dummy from Goosebumps.

Definitely excited for this one, can’t wait to see it. I’m ready to get hit in the feels again.

Gotta watch this. I haven't seen the shorts but I've grown up watching these movies. Gotta finish the story, though I thought that was supposed to be 3. Was this a great trailer? Meh, it was okay...I'm just sure the movie will be better than this 2 1/2 minute look. Something I like about the poster is how Forky looks so conflicted about what he is. A spoon? A fork? Both? Neither? Or does he think the silverware he's holding are his parents? Seems like the kind of thing a spaz like him would really get manic about. :funny:

I didn't know that Tony Hale is voicing Forky. He's gonna be hilarious.

I'm not loving the trailer.

Mainly because I see multiple emotional gut punches coming, and I'm not quite ready for that yet.
