Okay, I'm judging the trailer NOT the movie. I have watched the first Hellboy thought it was okay-good. I haven't read any of the comics or anything but like I said, I'm judging only the trailer. Okay, I thought the trailer was decent. Not blown away and I haven't really followed the movie so maybe that's why I'm kind of "Meh" about it all. Okay, I thought the trailer was interesting and the idea of the movie sounds pretty cool. The special effects were not incredible nor were they horrible, but they were really good. Can't wait to see how much better it's going to look when it's released! Really nice effects and monsters look great!

Overall, I wasn't blown away by the trailer but I did think it looked nice...7/10

It's because I haven't followed the movie from the start and haven't read any of the comics that's why I'm no where near as pumped as you guys, I think.

I haven't read the comics/know nothing about the character, but saw the first and it was great I thought. Hoping this one will be even better.

The only thing that worried me a little bit about the trailer was the fight between Nuada and HellBoy, i REALLY hope we dont get to see HB doing martials or something resembling it. He is just a bulldozer, there is no art to the way he fights, i hope they keep it that way.

He was doing a few dodges and blocks as well which i have no problem with, i just hope thats ALL he does. I dont want to see HB doing martial arts.

You have to appreciate a filmmaker who gets an incredible chance to do really phenomenal work riding the success of his movie last year (Pan's Labyrinth) and instead does something much smaller. Lets face this isnt the biggest crowd pleaser, but its all for the fans which is one of the reasons del Toro is the best (that and his visuals are just amazing).

Yeah, a lot of people out there don't even know about Hellboy, despite the movie. I tried to talk to this one girl about it and she said "Hellboy. He's the green guy, right?"...Didn't really know how to respond to that.

Don't worry. Hellboy did few dodges and blocks when he fought Kroenen in the first movie but he sure didn't come off as a gracefull fighter. I'm sure that will be the case this time around too. Hellboy is quick and he knows how to handle himself but no-one would ever present him as an über-agile ninja.

Spot on, thats what i love about GDT, he is a director who never forgets about the fans, and i doubt he ever will as well. I just hope this movie gets the success a GDT movie has deserved for a while now.

It looked like he knew what he was doing with a sword but thats it. Im not to worried.

It's never been in his character, and there's no way GDT would mess with that, when there's really no need. And lets face it, visually, a hulking red dude would just look silly doing anything like that. Leave the grace to the slender folks.

The trailer rocks! Like Pan's Labyrinth, everything looks like it was done with very close attention to detail. Ron is looking great as Hellboy, and everything in general is looking really good, as well.

I dont think it should show him as a sword master either, HB isnt that type of character, but if he uses the sword AND TRHOD, then that will super-cool .

To be honest, i really cant see GDT doing that to HB, but it was just a little worry i got from the trailer, nothing major.

Hey, anybody know what song was used for this trailer? The Hellboy trailers always seem to have great, epic sounding rock music. The first movie used "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse" by Dimmu Borgir.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found it. "Mein Herz Brennt" Ramstein. Should have known. Kickass stuff as usual.

This could possibly be my favourite trailer for a movie being released this year so far, i hope plenty of people get to see it, as if they do, they will go and see the movie no doubt.

The trailer looks absolutely awesome!! I didn't really like the first Hellboy movie, dealing with the subject of Hell I was expecting something more horror based.

This new trailer just looks more like what I was expecting.
