The most embarrassing thing about Cohen with respect to Trump is that he didn't bother hiring good lawyers. If you're doing anything meaningful in American life and you have money then you should hire a good lawyer.

Not a guy like Michael Cohen who puts $20,000 cash into a brown paper bag to pay a client.

Michael Cohen has zero credibility, and so his testimony should not damage Trump directly, but there is a pattern with Trump that he's not good at hiring people: Michael Cohen, Omarosa, John Bolton, Gary Cohn, the alien sperm lady, it's a gong show.

And if Trump becomes President again, he will probably again hire the wrong people.

It seems to me that the cleanest way to do it would be to wait until next Tuesday to start closing arguments and then have the jury deliberate. I think to have arguments start and be interrupted, or even completed, and have a long layoff, wouldn't be the right call.
