This in no way helps. My take on this is that a large portion of the people who were going to vote for Trump aren't going to change their minds, but "some" will. Those who are leaning Biden aren't going to suddenly vote for Trump because he got convicted of a felony.

Being a convicted felon doesn't help anyone, including Trump, in a run for office.

It turns out that besides having evidence against you that falling asleep nearly daily during your criminal trial is actually not a good strategy to present to a jury. Also: threatening the judge, court, and jury and their families - not a thing that endears you to a jury. Make a note.

EF that.....ours didn't last more than about 45 minutes.

TBH, I think we all have to trust the jury. If this is overturned on appeal, so be it. I followed this closely and thought they had plenty to convict.
