I think most people are going to be surprised by how much Harris wins by in Nov. In the past, some people didn't want to admit they were voting for Trump and his vote was underestimated. Now??? Maybe it's just because of how I feel, but I don't think the crazy is playing well with a lot of swing voters and I don't think the enthusiasm level is what it was. In this election, I wouldn't be surprised to see a hidden Harris vote.
Certainly hope you are right, Im 52 and never in my life did i ever see this coming, this sort of crazy was never imagined 20 years ago, and that so many americans love him is even harder to understand, the people out there wearing him cloths and refusing to hear reality, heck, i deal with it at work, the owner of the company i work for is a west point grade, Captain in the Army, college educated, and literally told my brother he was brainwashed by the democrats then went on to repeat the FEMA Immigrant lie, he calls us brainwashed and repeated a lie that was debunked by every republican governor and FEMA themselves, it troubles me that if Trump/MAGA can infect someone who was a West Point Grad and led troops then what hope do people have who live in poor, uneducated areas of our country have of breaking this cult.
The truth is that many people are afraid to publicly support Harris. I have friends in NV who have basically shut up because their cars and homes have been vandalized. One neighbor told a friend of mine that she didn't appreciate her bringing her gay friends into the neighborhood. In that kind of a threatening environment that Trump supporters create, it's no wonder some people don't speak up.
True, i have not seen that here in Columbus yet, i have a Harris/Walz hat in the back shelve of my car, and see alot of Harris/Walz yard signs and flags, but Columbus is a fairly progressive city, there are Trump supporters here, the last guy who i saw wearing a MAGA shirt was ridicualed all through the grocery store by numerous Harris supporters, in fact i am not seeing much of any Trump supporters as yet, its 50-1 where yard signs are concerned here, i suspect there are closet trumpers who will vote for him but have not gotten yard signs, its not hard to tell they support Trump as they have Bernie Moreno and No on issue 1 yard signs, both are Maga people and issues, but i have seen numerous Kamala harris yard signs, i suspect that will become more even as November gets closer, once anyone leaves a major city here in Ohio is goes to Trump ville pretty quick, in fact as i have said in the past, Ohio will go Trump, but if you look at the map, every major city will vote Harris, Trump will get all the rural votes.
