Yeah.....sure if she had retired early in the Obama presidency. She also lived for over 10 years after that so the doctor must have given her a good prognosis. In any case, most wouldn't have retired back then, but in retrospect? Sure.

Cancer is not something you gamble with. My wife is in a cancer group and had a dozen friends with cancer. 10 years later just about all of them are gone.

You want to ignore the first one? Questionable with so much on the line but okay.

The second one? Inexcusable.

I don't know......I live in west LA and mainly go shopping at the local supermarkets. I don't think I've ever seen someone in a Trump shirt or wearing a Trump hat.

Huh....actually, I don't mind that.

I've seen more house flags than apparel thankfully.
 
It's like I was saying before, that assassination attempt just made him more popular and he's counting on that.

He's using people's sympathy to milk it and even capitalize on it.

My husband said he saw a report that claims what little bump in the polls Trump may have gotten from the shooting is already waning. I hope that is true.

It will continue to.

The initial bump was from the shooting itself.

Now what’s happening is more people are learning who the shooter actually was: a conservative with Trump supporting friends.

Initial and later reactions are going to be different because of that.

I live in New York. I haven’t seen Trump anything really.

A neighbor has a Trump 2016 flag in his garage that he continues not to put out. He hasn’t even touched or moved it once since I moved into this neighborhood a year ago.

This will all be dependent on where one lives. In Florida there was literally no escaping it back then.

Thankfully moved out of a red state and will never make the mistake of living in one again.

Yeah, it sounds like, according to the article, that he wanted to shoot a President (or former President) and Trump was the first one that came by. :(

Its wild to even talk about this when during the RNC so far, Republicans did nothing but attack LGBT, POC, the Left etc.
I find it hard to believe that Trump would be the one talking about Unity when the whole Party in the last days has done the exact opposite.

The Poll numbers allegedly already are back to before, so thats not really a thing.
The two things it did, was that it gave those who already wanted to vote for Trump...the excuse they were waiting for to justify it.
And it made Democrats pull their teeths even more back than they did before.
It made Democrats even more cowardly than they were before.
