Revenge of the Fallen Transformers created by AllSpark (Mountain Dew, XBOX, Toaster, Clock, etc.) question

Does anyone have the source from the writers explaining that the Transformers created by the AllSpark by accident are not in fact evil Decepticons but instead are driven by instinct?

Any help would be appreciated.
