with a name like transformers prime i thought it was gonna be about them on cybertron. this is just more of the same. transformers on earth with humans. the game war for cybertron was fun because it was just them on cybertron, looks like they took the dark energon story and merged it with the movie transformers. i never liked the movie designs for the robots or vehicles. i like the g1 look you can actually tell what they transform into, these robots i have no idea they are just color coded. red robot is red car, there is no distinction after that.

This show is not bad first time showing.

Pretty good when I watched it again.


When we finally see Megatron and Starscream vs. the Autobots then we will see if this show will be epic.


One of the reasons that made TF Animated great is that the Decepticons were more powerful than the Autobots.

What is up with Frank Welker???


What is the point of hiring him IF HE WILL NOT DO the SAME VOICE he did in G1???


The voice is not bad BUT they could've hire someone else to that voice.


Was that Frank Welker's artistic choice to do a NEW Megatron voice???

He can't do the ORIGINAL Voice anymore???

I would love to have the G1 voice for Megatron and if you listen to when Megatron returns he does the G1 voice but that's it. What I'm disappointed in is the Soundwave voice...why does he sound like a modulated woman?

That's not his voice, he just did a playback on what Arcee said to Cliffjumper earlier in the episode.

It would be nice to have a series set on Cybertron and the war. And that is the only part of this show that I didnt like, going back to the cliched human characters.

Actually, the original series was good but for me it actually started getting better later when they left Earth and reestablished themselves on Cybertron and its moons and neighboring planets. Even Beast Wars was a great show due to the fact of no humans being involved.

I don't really mind the fact that the show is set on earth. Its the kids that bug me. For some reason Hasbro thinks the Transformers aren't interesting enough to carry a show by themselves so they have to pair the bots with brats. That logic boggles my mind, especially when you consider that before the "Human Alliance" line of Transformers, Hasbro never included any of the humans from the cartoons into their toy line up. Not to my logic anyway.

Watched the first two episodes yesterday and they weren't too bad. Not too crazy on the animation still although I do like the designs of the autobots and how polished they look.

I agree its pretty annoying that they have to saddle the autobots up with kids all the time, its getting old and I would've liked them to do something different. I don't mind a human alliance but the fact that they're using kids all the time is tiresome.

I used to like Autobots alot (and collect mainly Autobot toys as well), but I really dislike having kids lump with the good guys all the time. I'd root for Decepticons just so they can take care of those little nuisances in the show.

So not only can't the Decepticons hit the broad side of a barn but when they actually hit their opponent it does nothing.

On the plus side, Prime was awesome.

Not liking the lack of action from Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave.


Transformers Animated had bad a** Decepticons!! Megatron and Starscream on their own was owning 5 Autobots at the same time in their pilot.


Here, both Megatron and Starscream retreated like punks.

At least Megatron and Starscream has had great dialogue.

Soundwave needs to talk or do something badass ASAP to make up for his uglyness.

yeah I watch the first 4 episodes recording the 5th tonight.

anyways here are my pro's and con's

Pro's
1) Prime is prime and megatron is megatron (no doubt they warriors here unlike,,,,,,, the last sad installment 2 years ago with P*ssy prime)
2) The animation with the fight scenes is great (Brutal battles)
3) The writing is good here has some bad stuff to which I'll list in my cons,, but over all pretty good stuff
4) Starscream is great too really the same as tranformers G1
5) I like they use the oldschool stuff enengon and telitran 1.

OK NOW THE CON's

Cons
1) arrcee is lame like always, I was hoping they would have made her more like wonder woman in Justice league,, more "I can handle it" attitude instead of "WHAAAA,, I don't like human"

2) I know they want to market it to kids,, but kill off miko please!! she is an idiot,,, and Jack is a crybaby.
keep "Raf" he is cool,, and useful.

3) The still normal animation is poor without action especially the humans they don't match the animation,, you know what I'm saying pam?

4) Dark energon cool concept,, but it seems to earler to make this in here unless this going to introduce some cool transformers,, don't get me wrong I enjoyed prime and ratchet hacking the zombie transformers like a scythe through wheat,,,, but they have no depth.

5) decepticons all looks all the same except 3 starscream, megatron, and soundwave (which i can't stand his voice)

over all I give it a 7 mainly because I like prime and megatron so much.

but miko knocks down the scale.

I like Arcee. She jsut doesnt want to babysit. Nothing wrong with that. Though it would be nice if the autobots werent so weak compared to the decepticons.
