Uwe Boll makes terrible films and he thinks they are master pieces.

Such as...

You would like me to describe infinity? Do we need to play that game? You know what my issues with this movie were because you responded to the post where I listed them; I would have liked a movie without those problems.

I don't know why you seem to be giving this film a free pass. I understand having different standards for different kinds of films, but even then... This movie is just not very good. I should have spent the money on Beast Wars DVDs.

someone cared about them to some extent and felt they were worth investing time and money in....be it a writer, director, or someone

Someone cared enough to invest William Hung's album. Should we overlook the quality of it because of that?

Is anyone a fan Transmorphers or Dungeons&Dragons the Movie?

even ugly babies have parents that love them

I tend to be lenient with Michael Bay because for the exeception of Pearl Harbor, I enjoy his movies...they aren't the deepest or most emotionally invested but they entertain me....Public Enemies releases this week, but I expect a ****load more from Mann than I ever would from Bay

Well that's an obligation more than anything. You carry a baby or 9 months, you're gonna love the ****er reggardless of how he or she looks.

There is no obligation in not striving to improve your craft. I'm not defending the movie cuz I haven't seen it but speaking on the quality of films in generals. I do understand having higher expectations for certain directors though.

I know what your issues with the movie are. That doesn't tell me how the story could have/should have been much better. I'd like someone to proffer a basic few comments about what kind of story they would have preferred to see, as a sequel to TRANSFORMERS, other than "Shia Lebouf And The Matrix of Leadership". The only person who has done so, you guessed it, based their story on REVENGE OF THE FALLEN's basic story.

There's a difference between having problems with stupid humor coming in every so often (which I think everyone does here, on some level), or wanting a better execution of character and whatnot, and actually knowing what would make a better story.

I keep asking what people would like to see because no one can apparently tell me. I have yet to see anyone explain even a basic, simple storyline would have been better than this one. I'm sure there is one. I just haven't seen anyone come up with one.

I haven't given it a free pass. I'm well aware of it's weaknesses, and I've been very fair about it's weaknesses when discussing them. I'm not going to condemn it entirely for 20 minutes of crappy humor because that's not me, and I'm not going to condemn it entirely for a few out there concepts like the stuff with the Primes, the Suneater, etc, because, all together now...IT'S A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. The Transformers mythos is filled with that kind of stuff.

I don't care if it's not a very good movie in every filmmaking aspect. I don't go into every film expecting a great, well made film, and it doesn't surprise me when I don't get one. ROTF was entertaining as hell to me. If you don't like it, you don't like it.

But you've been here long enough to understand that I'm not black and white, and that I don't entirely like or dislike most things.

As a die hard G1 fan, I must admit, I enjoyed this film. Was it better than the first ? No. Will it ever top the 1986 film ? Never. But all in all, it was a good movie.

THE GOOD

1. Megan Fox : Hot, Hotter, NUCLEAR !

2. The Humor : Immmature, yes, but still funny.

3. Sideswipe : Awesome

4. Optimus Prime kicking ass and taking names.

5. The twins. Very Funny. I'm a black guy, and beleive me when I say this racist mumbo jumbo is over blown. Don't beleive the hype.

6. Bumblebee kicking ass.

THE BAD

1. The Twins : Yea they were funny, and no, I don't think they were racist stereotypes, but why in the hell give these two clowns more screen time than Sideswipe ?

2. The Fallen : To be such a badass, he really didn't do much. He was definately no Unicron.

3. The Robot Designs: I can't tell who is who. No faces, just a buch of moving parts. They either looked like insects or Amped up Johnny 5's.

4. Soundwave : A head in a satalite is NOT my Soundwave. And why the hell does he sound like Dr. Claw ?

5. The Military Kicking Decepticon Ass: These guys were getting their asses handed to them by the military. Something that would've never happened in the G1 series unless they were fighting G.I. Joe.

6. Devastator : A walking pile of junk with testicles. LAME !!!

4. Soundwave : A head in a satalite is NOT my Soundwave. And why the hell does he sound like Dr. Claw ?

I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can complain about how Soundwave sounds. He is the only Transformer other than Prime who is voiced by the original actor from G1, and then people complain that his voice sucked??

I thought it was even better in the movie and instantly recognized Welker's voice.

I liked Soundwave....I dug the satellite and how he was keeping an eye on everything...and as for the complaints about the voice...welker is 20+ years older, the voice is going to sound different....Peter Cullen is lucky because he has always had a seriously deep voice

Because it was Welker doing Dr. Claw and Not SOUNDWAVE ! Welker was also the voice for Fred from Scooby Doo. Would u be happy if Soundwave sounded like Fred, even though Welker was doing the voice ?

I agree. I have respect for those two voice actors because they were the only two who returned to voice Prime and Soundwave. No offense to the other voice actors who also did a great job but I thought Cullen and Welker were pretty awesome doing the voices for the movie version of Prime and Soundwave.

record your voice now and then wait 20 years and record your voice again....the chances of it sounding exactly the same are not great

How can you say Sideswipe was a pro?

I didn't even know he was in the movie until afterward.

It's also really cheesy and not very frightening or intimidating.

Aw c'mon the vocoder was perfect for Soundwave.

He wasn't supposed to be scary. He was supposed to be a mechanical brown nose. The dry monotone was perfect for a robotic sycophant. If you think about it a follower and kiss-up lack their own personality and soul, so the soulless voice of Soundwave was perfect.

And the Dr. Claw voice is?

A lot more than the vocoder one, yes.

Soundwave was never meant to sound intimidating, just hi-tech.

And now he is high tech, not just a cheesy sort of high tech where things literally leap out of his giant tapedeck.

Sure. In a cheesy 80's cartoon. It works great there, where almost every other character has a cheesy voice.

"Dry monotone"?

Eh, it's a moot point. Obviously these Decepticons are meant to be scarier. Intimidating.

this Soundwave seemed different...less lackey, more observant and keeping an eye on everything

Soundwave's robo-voice worked great for the cartoon. It would've been stupid in the movie. They adapted it perfectly and even managed to get Welker to do the voice.

It really blows my mind that people complain about this.
