According to The Movie Blog. Live Free or Die Hard has been pushed to June 29th as its release date. Therefore giving Transformers the entire 4th of July weekend all to itself. :)

Thanks for the good news TigerClaw, wouldn't have been a competition anyways. :cwink:

Harry who?

[I only saw the first one + never read the books :o]

FTW :trans: !

nice. I want LIVE FREE or DIE HARD out of june as well.

Hoping it goes to november becasue i don't want that movie to eat into my equally anticipated movie as TF which is F4:ROTSS.

Apparently Die hard has been moved to June 29, a week before transformers.

Good.

That's a new movie every week for me.
I hate bundled weekends.

Someone told me that the official site has always said June? The trailer still says July. Oh well.

Transformers going make a **** load of money :trans:

Transformers going make a **** load of money :trans:

I think it will make a decent amout of money but, Harry Potter will take away alot of money. I predict Transformers will make anywhere between 200 to 230million. However, if the script is as crappy as most critics have stated then it may not break the 200 million mark.

thant is good news just because i didnt want to have to pay to see two movies on the same day but other than that i think TF would have smashed die hard

but i do think that harry poter is going to put up a really good fight and it might even surpass.

Aren't people bored of that franchise yet? :o

I think it has to do with money, contracts, B.W. doing another sequel, before he gets too old . . . but then again, it could be that we're underestimating them, and they really got a great story on their hands . . . who knows.

I like competition, so I'm not seeing how this is a good thing, unless one stands to gain profit from the movie. I would've liked to see Transformers go head-up with FF2...just to see which one people wanted to see on opening weekend, and whether they went back to see it again, or to see the other one, or something else.

If Transformers is going to be good, then I'd like to see people going out in droves to see it...as a result of good word of mouth after the early showings. If it's NOT going to be good, then I'm not going to be excited that it makes a huge profit because there were no other new movies out on it's opening weekend.

im not worried. even if other movies did come out with TF, TF would beat everything in box office around the world. im expecting japan to come close to america with box office sales.

I'm sure TF will dominate at the BO, no matter the contender. The people on the net who hate it and everything about it are that way because they've seen so much of the horror. Most people who will see this movie have never seen Chicken Gorilla, nor would most of them give a **** what he looked like in a cartoon 500 years ago. Hate Bay and his silly feces designs all you want, this movie will kick some serious ass in sales.

It's best for Live Free or Die Hard to move the way it has,TF will have the huge spectacle action to draw in movie fans and i think they will enjoy and connect with the human characters like Sam,Mikaela and Lennox

No one can connect with Shia LeBouf. Watch the Disturbia trailer and you will see.

Let's make one thing clear. No one would see this movie for the human characters.

This is a Michael Bay movie, right off the bat this tells people they aren't going to be getting quality human romance, interaction, and crap like that.

I'm not sure I buy Spike's character about 3/4th of the way through the film. Especially not with a whimp like Shia playing him.
