Nice ep. I'm glad to see that the claw hands are actually Marianne's as i clearly saw them morph back after Sam got away. I wonder why then she wore the fake ones at the ritual?

Can't say i feel bad for Daphne's fate.

I love Lorena

And glad to see Drill Sergant whatever his name finally get his ass kicked!

I hate Lorena. It's not the character, the character would be fine, if the actress didn't suck ass. :o

Loved this ep. Daphne deserved to get stabbed...stupid *****. I want to see the big church fight but I don't think Godric will allow it:( I think he was there on his own will since he is running around in the basement because who would let him out?

Im with ya Lorena is hot hot hot. But Sarah is ****ing sizzling babay!

Love Lorena, hate Daphne. Right now all I want to see is Godric in action though. 2000 year old vamp = he can probably do whatever the **** he wants.

Good episode. Nice touches for developing Eric. And Lorena is so cruel and sickening to Bill that is deeply entertaining. Loved Sam and Andy's reactions to the orgy after Sam escaped. Especially poor Andy's. I am very glad to see Daphen, the dummy, get what she had coming to her. Only complaint is that it left on the cliffhanger we've all be waiting for...Vampires vs. Evangelicals. It looks like it will be good if Godric/Eric don't screw it up.

BUT I do have to say my favorite moments: Jason kicking the drill sarg's ass. That and Hoyt getting his from the best relationship on the show made the episode. I like how they don't notice Bill and Sookie have completely disappeared.

I'm pretty sure Godric gave himself up to the fellowship. Obviously he could get out of there whenever he wants, and Eric wouldn't offer himself in place if they could just kill everyone and leave.

I'm curious as to why Godric is willing to let the church fry him though? Is there some kind of pact or past agreement he's atoning for or something?

In the books:

Basically, he gave himself up because he was tired of living. The guilt of all the death and destruction he'd caused over the years, especially those of children, finally caught up with him and he felt he needed to atone for his sins, so he gave himself up to the church to meet the sun.

Also wonder if Sarah really killed Jason. Kinda felt like a dream sequence but it had to have been real. Does he die, or does a vamp turn him to save him?

That was totally a [BLACKOUT]paintball gun.[/BLACKOUT] Looked too weird, plus that was the same kart Jason and Steve rode around in when they were shooting those.

The Hoyt/Jessica lovey dovey scenes are becoming as cringe worthy as the Bill and Sookie ones. I understand love is part of the show, but there's just something about those scenes. It's like the director milks it for too long.

In the preview for the rest on the season, i saw Sookie in bed with what looked like a blonde guy....Eric maybe?

I'm a straight guy and I absolutely LOVE the Hoyt/Jessica scenes. They both have such great chemistry with each other and are absolutely adorable together.

I hope they last.

I dont mind the Hoyt/Jessica lovey/dovey scenes at all. Mostly because I like Hoyt and am in love with Jessica. Any scene with Jessica is a good one. The Bill/Sookie scenes are brutal because we've had 2 seasons of them and because Sookie is annoying anyway.

Says the guy who likes his women silent and not heard. You just can't handle Sookie, cause she's too much of a strong woman for you, but alas. :o

Sookie annoys me, too :csad: I can't even put my finger on specifically WHY, she just does. Jessica is growing on me...I hated her at first. She's still kinda corny. I keep waiting for her to accidentally kill Hoyt.

Can't wait for next week...the cliffhanger at the end of this episode killed me!

Cause no matter how wrong she is.... SHE IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

And by right, I mean even more horribly wrong than before. :o

I thought Eric let him out

I guess I assumed Eric had gotten there cuz the Godric scene happened right after Eric supersped away from the hotel. Guess he's not as fast as I thought.

I think we're supposed to believe those scenes were happening at the same time. Also, since Godric had to call to Eric in the preview to find him.

I completely agree. One thing I said at the end of last season was "I want some Hoyt charavter developement damnit!" And I got my wish in spades cuz Jessica and Sarah are easily the 2 hottest on the show right now. I still miss my Lizzy Caplan though

Not actual spoilers, just my musings over the latest episode;

I'd be awfully disappointed if this is the end of Jason, it would be too anti-climatic.

I'm disappointed too with the fact that Isabel is seemingly innocent of any involvement with the Fellowship. I thought that was what the episode was building towards, especially after she told Eric that it was curiosity more so than love that drew her to that guy (which in turn suggested to me that she thought he was expendable).

I don't know what to think about Godric. I doubt he's in league with the Fellowship in any way, they seem to be too into what they are all about (the gun room, the meetings where vampire hatred is incited etc etc). I don't think Eric freed Godric either, I mean where would he start to look? Just because he knew where Sookie was that doesn't necessarily mean he knew where Godric was. Even if he did free him by being able to feel presence, where was Eric when Godric saved Sookie?

My favorite Sookie self righteous know-it-all scene is when she finds out Bill turned Jessica to a vampire and didnt tell her. She goes something like "What else have you been keeping from me? I've bared all my deepest, darkest demons to you so how can you not do the same for me?" Oh I dont know Sookie, maybe because as a 140 year old vampire who spent half a century murdering people and having sex in their blood, I might have a few more things to be wary about sharing than a 25 year old waitress who's never left her population:30 hick-town.

"I once dropped a guys hamburger on the floor, put it back on the bun and gave it to him anyway. :csad: "
"I ripped a kids throat out in front of his mother and violated his corpse with a mop handle."
"....but that burger could have really made him sick!"
"You're right, we are equals in every way."

Then there's always the classic "becoming a vampire is the same thing as going through puberty as a girl". She really went for the gold with that one.

^

That's pretty much why Sookie is way down the list of characters I find most intruiging. I've seen it all before and there's just something about her whining that doesn't fit in with the overall vibe of the show at all.
