How could they have The Rock, Con-Air, Speed, Die Hard, and even the 6th Day on Blu-Ray, but not True Lies?

-TNC

They're probably going to have a 15 year anniversary edition or something, hopefully

Someone hasn't seen Near Dark or Frailty...

or Tombstone or Aliens or Predator 2 or Club Dread (only good part of the flick).

Guy is the ultimate likeable 80s jackass sidekick as well as having a killer Jimmy Buffet impression

Shoot em up isn't even in the same league as True Lies, Shoot Em is an average but entertaining action movie with most of it's stuff knocked off from better films.

Shoot Em Up was terrible. Seriously why didn't they just get Statham in that role... I mean he does that sort of stuff the best. But movies like Crank, Transporter, Shoot Em Up... yeah it's entertaining... but its really not even worth your money considering we have seen that formula over and over again and it gets tired after a while.

True Lies is over-rated imo. Paxton steals this movie.

Shoot 'Em Up shouldn't even really be mentioned with True Lies IMO

What's wrong with Clive Owen in that movie?

Are you contradicting yourself? Or you do like this movie?

this movie is amazing. As a kid, 8 years old, I saw it and it has always made me entertained by it. I agree that it was ahead of it's time and is one of my old fav's. Great cast, jokes, action, dramatic moments, it has it all. I wouldnt say GREATEST but definitly up there next to Rush Hour and others. I wonder who else could have been better than Arnold but he was the top action actor of that time period. So it fits extremly well. I have this on VHS and pop it in every now and then. I HIGHLY reccomend it.

I think I shot through puberty when I first saw Jamie Lee Curtis' strip scene :wow:

Last action hero has a better comedic ratio than true lies and it fits because it's a parody of itself and other cop based films.

Jack Slater is badass...

Not only that but the villain is better and the side plot of curtis being a secret agent drags slightly, perhaps they overplayed it a bit too much.

Last action hero is probably arnie's most underated film.

Yeah I think so too, I've always enjoyed that movie. I think it was panned when it came out but it's a very clever movie.

This was the last great film he made

No love for Eraser?

It's not as good as True Lies, but it's not bad it's pretty cool

LAH is ok....for a kid's movie. And that's what it is..a family/kid's movie and not near as good as True Lies.

I liked Last Action Hero. I was surprised by how bad it's reception was.

I love when he drops the tape recorder.
