Hardly surprising, the ads nowadays start before the credits end. My favourites would be Airwolf, Hill Street Blues and The A-team

Charles in Charge is one of my favorite themes. Family Matters was pretty good too. Oh, and The Facts of Life. The Munsters... Too many.

Not too many great modern ones. I like Parks and Recreation's theme.

I hope the new Charlie's Angels keeps the theme song.

Some shows aren't using original themes though, like the CSI franchise, which uses songs by The Who. I think the idea is that it has a built in hit and the composer doesn't have to try to come up with something cool. I think that's just lazy.

Even movies these days don't always have a great theme tune. They used to have lots of classics. Now they're barely memorable at all, especially these super hero movies.
