She's been around long enough, I'm sure she's used fire at *some* point. But yes, she usually uses either life-draining/death powers, or generic magic energy effects.

Surtur looks amazing! I was worried that they were going to make him look a bit too much like the Balrog from LotR, but he actually looks really different, I love the character design.

I assume he has a great deal of resistance to fire, otherwise he'd probably just burst into flames even at that distance.

Meh. Surtur is a god, that's no mere fire. Can't see any scenario where Hulk is even taken seriously. Something's gotta give. Surtur is a guy even Odin couldn't beat down. I'd imagine that scene will end with Hulk saved from dire straits

Oh yeah, in no way does Hulk win that fight. I just don't think he gets instantly KO'd or killed like you seem to be suggesting. At best maybe he lands a shot (against tremendous odds, given that he has to leap miles just to have a chance to punch him) and staggers Surtur but that will probably be it, like: "Way to go, you mildly annoyed the giant god after trying really hard to do anything against it, now go fight something else that you can actually affect while Odin and Thor handle this."

Yeh Surtur is no joke. Hulk may annoy him but you need much more firepower to face that kind of a threat with some chance of being successful. And if he has twilight lit then it's all hands on deck basically.

Hopefully Hulk just lands a blow that only annoys Surtur before he's swatted like a fly and flies miles or atleast hundreds of meters away.

Or Surtur swats him out of the air before the blow even lands, but we all know Marvel isn't going to let Hulk go out like that.

He's gonna land a blow, no reason for him not to. Again, it'll only be an annoyance to Surtur and Odin will probably be the MVP and final blow lander in the fight. So no harm, no foul in letting Hulk get at least one shot in.

Note that Marvel Studios had the Hulk get overwhelmed by Chitauri in the first Avengers movie, and ultimately beaten in a long hard fight by the Hulkbuster armor in Avengers 2. They aren't fatally allergic to having the Hulk lose fights. I suspect the Hulk *is* going to get a drubbing here, albeit one that he survives. After all, it'd be an effective way to communicate "You don't beat Surtur by just conventional punch-in-face".

Timely short explanation for those who don't know so much about the character. At 8.18 a pretty good perspective at the impact Hulk would have on Surtur. As said, Surtur is basically more powerful than Odin and if they are to defeat him then they are going to need som serious fire power. "For Asgard, For Midgard, for myself..." moment in the cards for sure.
