It would say it was predominantly the FC cast, but the OT stuff was great. It did not seem like this was their swan song for the series, either.

So you'd say the OT cast gets around 30-45 minutes? Does Storm get enough screentime? Somebody said she was in the movie for like 2 minutes.

Omg what. That seems wrong though. Yeah ur right, opening battle is around 6 minutes plus temple scenes.

Well this is a FC+Hugh jackman as wolverine film.Even with 70 -75 percent of film In 1973 going by what they themselves have said you still have wolverine in it.

As for weither or not this Is OC swan song besides hugh of course who knows.
I mean many here would have doudted they would bring back so many of Original cast for film after First Class.

That sounds like something haters online would say.No way the opening battle,
stuff In temple to send wolverine back In time,the meeting of the xavier's,sentinle attack on temple,and ending Is only 9 minutes of screentime.

They themselves said future was 25 to 30 percent of film even with cutting the
Rofue rescue sub-plot that wouldn't bring future to just 9 minutes.Plus It
seems like they reshot some stuff in temple to replace scenes that had rogue there.

danoyse, would you says DOFP is one of the best CBM films of all time like The Dark Knight, The Avengers, Spider-Man 2, X-Men 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier etc?

If you thought it was as good as X2, it must be...

I already anticipate myself seeing this several times. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a movie more than once in theaters, but I'm definitely this time.

I need to make sure I keep avoiding spoilers! Sometimes I find myself in the spoiler thread and I have to tell myself to leave haha.

I heard the final battle with the OT cast is awesome and brutal....can't imagine that only being two minutes.

There is a review (non spoiler) on IMDB that says that the movie was really good and the trailers don't do it justice.

As long as you haven't watched or heard about ANY clips, the you should be good. Theres plenty to sink your teeth into. They did show a lot in the trailers, but I wasn't expecting the Climax of the film to actually be what it was, based on the trailers.

Also plenty of screen time on the future mutants, 30 minutes does seem about right. I wish there were more, because it was awesome! The contrast between the 2 different eras was amazing.

Well I was/am expecting this big battle in both time periods in the film at the climax and I guess so do many, so perhaps I should lower my expectations a bit even if this does happen. Probably for the best.

It's not the second coming, it's still just a movie. Keep your anticipation at that level. It's no fun if you don't, because no movie lives up to that kind of hype.

I never hype myself over movies. They will never leave up to it ever. I have expectations like I expect cap 3 to be as good or better than winter soldier for example since same people are involved. I have no hype for dofp because Singer is directing again and since I never completely loved the previous ones he did, I expect some of the same issues to remain. Still excited though.
