[A Dollar Short]

Sounds like Qucksilver is a hit, oh the irony.

I'm thrilled at all the positive reactions. Only two more weeks, wish I could go to sleep and wake up on the 23rd, but dammit I will try my hardest to avoid all spoilers.

Luckily I have work, interviews for a promotion, rehearsals for my show that opens on the same night as X-Men, moving into a new home, AND Amazing Spider-Man 2, Neighbors, and Godzilla to tide me over/keep me busy until then.

Just be careful with twitter reactions, I've noticed even critically panned films have mostly positive twitter reactions due to the whole hype factor. Pertinent for a CBM as people get very over excited. See TASM2 for example.

Still a great sign, could see DOFP and CA:TWS fighting it out for CBM of the year

Not to go too off topic, but I thought Spidey had a chance, and GoTG would be the "bad CBM" of the year.

DoFP look absolutely fantastic and the trailers are getting me very excited, it has been an absolute rollercoaster for good films this year! And they just keep coming too!

I also expected the first reactions to be positive, the tone is right and the story epic, we'll see about the rest.

Only Guardians of the Galaxy could be worse than crappy TASM2 if they go overboard with the campy humour.

Yeah, I remember her bashing the first trailer because it was too dramatic and didn't have enough action for her taste, and then getting annoyed by the third trailer because "it showed too much action". That led people on YouTube declaring that Grace can officially never be pleased, lol.

I'm glad she loved the final product.

Seeing these reviews at great, this has been my most anticipated cbm for a long time now. This is also the first time that I've been spoiler free for a movie in years so I especially enjoyed the ones cautioning to remain spoiler free. Can't wait!

people will like GOTG if it's not as overstuffed and non-sensical as ASM2

the early reactions are good
but I still have weird feelings about this movie
as a lifelong x-fan, I want it to be good, I really do, but nothing about any of the trailers or clips has given me any confidence in it
only Singer directing and the OT actors being involved give me hope
