Hi!

I have bought some Two Face Coins online from Slicksilvercoins. http://slicksilvercoins.com/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=1505

I have been wanting to burn one side of some of the coins for some time now, however I am unsure as to what I should do in order to achieve a good effect.

I was wondering if any of you know how to create a good scarred Two Face coin?

Thank you :yay:

Just go old school and scratch the face off instead.

Get a metal file and start cutting in the deep scratches using images from google as a source.

I'm not sure what to use as a burning tool short of a blowtorch, and that might just melt it.

Could some recommend to me a good or high quality Two Face coin that is already done. Any help would be great, thanks. Also, is there a company that makes a replica of the gun he used? Any information would be appreciated.

If it was the beginning of the year, I would have said the bigbadtoystore.com version. But I just checked and I don't think it's the same one.

You might try amazon.com and ebay.

As for the gun, I'm not sure of the model, but I'm willing to bet that you could probably find a either a close enough replica or an exact replica if you go the airsoft route.

I can't offer much help with the coin, but I can tell you that Two-Face's revolver was a Smith & Wesson Model 64. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Dark_Knight,_The#Smith_.26_Wesson_Model_64

I don't know if any exact replicas of it exist, but for a costume you could probably get away with a simple cap gun from the dollar store spray-painted silver. An airsoft gun would also work, if you were willing to spend a little more.

For making the deep grooves, you could try using a soldering gun tip.
