This was started in another thread and I felt it was needed to make a thread about it as my focus. This is my opinion, I believe that Two Face being scarred in the court room is just not doing it for me.

I personally would like to see Dent at a political party celebrating his election but becoming scarred live.

What are your thoughts?

It has to be the courtroom scene. That's all I'll say. It's far too classic and iconic of a scene to change, in my opinion.

I think it should be the courtroom scene too.

One of the things I have had against the courtroom scene is mainly because a person on trial who wants to get off the charges, throws acid at the prosecutor.

Courtroom

but I liked the rumor awhile back that said he would be scarred trying to save Rachel.

Ya I forgot to finish my thought, I just find it that if someone is trying to get off charges throwing acid is just not in the right place. Since most people like the courtroom scene how would you have it go. The only way I really can remember it is that scene from Batman Forever and the cheesy look of Batman jumping over benches.

It was explained much much much much better in TLH.

I think it'll happen after dent eats some really bad chinese food. or he complains about the Falafel and the Falafel guy goes nuts.

I would hope so. Its mostly because I haven't read that comic and was not able to see how it was done.

we all know its gonna be the court room. Theres no way Nolan would leave that out.

Well it probably is, it is just my opinion about how it was done. Nolan would def have it in the courtroom or he might have it done another way, who knows.

In TLH, Maroni was in court to testify against Falcone, but Falcone's daughter had done some time because of Maroni and hadn't given him up (plus she had a little romance with him), so before the trial she asks him to return the favor and tells him that Dent is the one applying all of the pressure on them and that if he went away, so would all the problems. Maroni agrees and Vernon (assistant to Dent and working as an informant for the mob) slips him the acid in a little bottle marked "Antacid" right before trial. During the trial, Dent is questioning Maroni on the stand and Maroni starts to clam up on his deal with Dent to cave on Falcone and just as Dent is losing it in front of the court, Maroni pretends to have a coughing fit and pulls out the acid and splashes it in his face.
Maroni was already planning on doing jail time in return for what Falcone's daughter did/asked, so he just took care of Dent to ease up the pressure on the mob and probably as a little prideful payback.

TLH is already such a cinematic comic book, i wish they would have just directly adapted it into a movie.

Well that is a much better picture then Tommy Lee Jones jumping around and some guy opening a vial and throwing it

I don't really think someone as powerful as Maroni would be worrying too much about that.

Well now that it has been cleared up that Maroni was already in deep trouble. It makes much more sense why he would do it.

well people want acid. I could see explosion happening though

courtroom while questioning a criminal on the stand.

For such an iconic scene, Batman and Robin sure cut it down to playing on a TV in the background (and even then it was a short cut scene barely even there.)

this movie, hopefully Batman Begins 3, focuses on it much more.
