Whatever it is, i just hope is not multiplatform, because to announce a game in a specific console when the game is not exclusive, imo, it´s stupid.
Yeah, Lost Planet 2 falls in that category.

Also, a game has to be announced somewhere. Would it somehow be better if it was announced on the PC even if it isn't exclusive to that platform?

Ubisoft Paris announced this morning that it's working on a new entry in the Ghost Recon series, titled Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. And yes, you've heard that name before.
It'll feature both singleplayer and multiplayer modes, while the publisher also promises beta access to anyone buying Splinter Cell Conviction on the Xbox 360 later this year.
The beta will run this summer, with the game out sometime in the holiday season.
And...that's it. No more info. So enjoy the logo above, then imagine Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, only with laser guns.

And it turns out that it's a ******ed announcement like Isildur's Heir feared. Future Soldier will be multiplatform and the PS3 version will be released day and date as the 360 version

I didn't like GRAW, I thought the controls were crap. If they made it like Rainbow 6 with future tech I'd play for sure.

I always thought Call of Duty would be the first war game to go real futuristic on us. Oh well, haven't been a fan of the series, but I'm excited to try the beta and see the direction they go with it. The idea of being able to stealth attack someone is always a pleasant one.
