This sort of thing just makes me appreciate what they were doing with the rotating art team on Ultimate Spider-Man even more. I love Art Adams and I know he needed his time and all but that kind of wait is torture.

I agree but hey I would rather wait and have great artwork than push him to do it and get shotty artwork. Can't wait to get my hands on this. As much as I still resent Loeb for what he did to the X-men I gotta admit that this is reeling me in. Im actually finding myself interested in seeing what happens next.

So umm what does spiderman have to do with that little versus up above? I mean im glab that they aren't unreadable ugly pieces of crap like Ulimates 3 and Ultimatum but.........yeah

Death of Spider-Man opened nicely with a cool movie alike introduction. Norman Osbourn seems to have found the "light" in his life and the Ultimate Six prepare for revenge! Captain America schools Peter abit, but it seems this crossover is only going to be in the next issue for both titles, with Punisher seemingly shooting Peter and giving him a fatal wound, while Avengers vs. New Ultimates continue their fight, and Peter finishes off the Ultimate Six.

your not the only one on that sentiment dude. It's so nice having everything back to looking the way they're supposed to.

Despite taking 9 months for #4 to come out, Ultimate X keeps the quality and the cliché-yet-working Jeph Loeb narration that pretty much tells 2 stories in 1 issue, and the art was incredibly detailed and apparently #5 is suppose to come out in May 2011, but still i hope post Death of Spider-Man Loeb has gotten another artist to work on the series, perhaps Ed McGuinness?

Liz Allen was such a ***** tho in this series, i hate the american school girl stereotype but she seems to have learned a lesson or two in this issue, the new Blob was a cool character but the little interaction between Derek and Jimmy makes me believe we're in for a good Bromance.

Millar should probably just do Ultimate stuff. I think it just fits him. The Ultimate line has got something good going, I hope they don't mess it up.

Actually i was pointed out that Ultimate Jane Foster already made her debut in Ultimates 2, totally forgot that! She's the club girl Thor hangs out with in Ultimates 2. So yeah Millar ignored Loeb as much as Loeb ignored Millar.
