Ultimate Deadpool

I understand Bendis wanted to change the character for Ultimate but he could have kept his yellow boxes.

Way I see it, Ultimat Deadpool is still salvagable. Wade was actually a pretty sucku character when he first showed up, and not unlike Ultimate Deadpool in alot of ways. Just have Ult. Wade's mental state start to deteriorate and have him lose his racist tendancies, and we're golden.

Cable & Deadpool isn't that bad, but not as good as the Gail Simone run and definetly not as good as Joe Kelly's.

Have you read Cable/Deadpool? He's been the but of every indecency since the book started and it's only getting worse with time. Not only does he make Deadpool a pure tool under Cable, the writter has gone to great lengths to make sure that it's made abundantly clear that good old Wade is inferior to Cable in EVERY way. He hasn't even tied a fight in I don't know how long, has he won a single matchup against anyone aside from Ninja's sicne the book began?

He's treated like a joke. I'm not saying that Wade should be the strongest one there is but jebus regular Deadpool could eat Cable/Deadpool Deadpool for breakfast. The only times Wade gets any hits in at all or is competent in anything is when it either doesn't mater, or because Cable let's him or arranges it for him so he would suceed.

Hell he can't even put a sratch on Domino these days.

Yes, I own almost every comic Deadpool appears in except a few near the beginning.

You only say that because Wade is in it, yet turn a blind eye to the indignities the character is subjected to within said book.

I mean Deadpool isn't about having dignity bed him every night, but lately he's been written in a totally degrading way. If you've a true fan of Deadpool, the way he's being marginalized and written lately in the book shouldn't sit well with you.

I'm just glad they're not trying to stuff Deadpool under the rug like they tried to do with him after issue #69, when they brought in the more hip, cool Agent X.

I personally want the Joe Kelly Deadpool back .. with T-Ray .. and crazy fights .. like the one against evil Captain America where Deadpool kicks Cap' in the balls.
