I chose movies that the common man would be familiar with. Like I've already said, if you have any movies you would like added to the supplemental portion of the tournament PM them to me ant ehy will be. As far as a lack of old movies thus far, the first round of the tournament is only 15% done. There is a LONG way to go.

Just so you know, of the next 6 movies to be posted two are pre-1975 and one is pre-1960. The three battles after that feature three movies prior to 1985. The next 13 battles after that all feature at least one movie from pre-1990.

Once we get out of the movies begining with 'T' the older movies will appear much more frequently. 'T' just had so many movies, nearly twice as many as any other letter. Unfortunately, we have to go through 203 more battles before we are out of the terrible 'T's.'

yeah, when i found this thread and read the rules i thought it sounded pretty cool; a bracket-style competition pitting the best 1024 movies of the last 68 years, but then i saw the movies he considers worthy of being included in the top 1024 and i thought it was a joke. if you seriously think "the santa clause 3" deserves to be on that list, you either haven't seen enough movies or you're an idiot.

its fairly obvious they are winning, the grass is always greener as they say. and they are probably going up against films like xxx 2 or the pacifier. please have more pride in your tournament, and in your movie watching.

- The 2000's thus far make up nearly 25% of all movies ever made!!!

- 2007 alone has produced nearly 4% alone IN JUST OVER 7 MONTHS!!!

- The 2000's have already produced more films than the 1890'2, 1900's,
1910's, 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, AND 1960's COMBINED!!!

- By the end of the 2000's the 21st century will already have more movies
in than the previous 110 years in JUST 10 YEARS!!!

- In the months of April, May, and June of 2007 more movies were released than in the 1890's, 1900's, and 1910's COMBINED!!!

My tourrnament is merely a microcosm of society and life. If you truely have issues with my tournament you should probably look over your shoulder because you have an even bigger problem in life.
