Well lets see, there is no evidence for thor being hit by a skrull ship BUT there is evidence for the fight lasting 10 minutes.

You're reaching, I have actual evidence for my claim and you have nothing but assumption for yours.

If we're going to make assumptions regarding the ships and thor I would observe a few things firstly a lot of the ships were damaged (the skrulls were retreating from something else in the galaxy). Secondly thor was engaging the ships at very close range so he couldn't be shot without endangering the ship he was hitting with his hammer. Thirdly I doubt the ships were designed to fight people at that range. Fourthly even if it didn;t cause injury we have been shown that fire can singe thors hair so if he was hit by a beam from the ships its reasonable to assume his hair would have been singed.

Actual evidence from people KNOWN for sarcasm is like saying I know a meteor hit Earth simply because someone else said it, and has a history of exaggerating. Second, Thor being close range was mostly Thor launching lightning bolts and destroying ships from a distance. And really, most of the people on Earth have the ability to launch weaponry that doesn't endanger them upclose. Or have you forgotten about your little tactical nuke that Hawkeye waves around? Also given that the Skrulls are well beyond anything that conventional humans have.

And really, honestly, a Skrull isn't going to use something that just sets something on fire. Where Thor was splashed with napalm which is MEANT to burn things down (Like hair). Skrulls haven't seemed to just launch combustible liquid at their enemies. Concussion energy bolts would most likely be their weaponry given the state of their advancement. Explosions cause too much collateral damage, especially in close range. Skrulls would most definitely be smarter than that.

So your evidence is really nothing more than speculation, and one sarcastic person's remark. Take into account what the other side is truly capable of, what they most likely are like, and what they most likely will do before you just say what you thought might have happened on paper at first glance.

how?

The sentry as written has very inconstant power levels due to his craziness so thats easily explained.

Actually, everywhere from where Sentry could now move at unbelievable speeds, to where Sentry was punching through Attuma's head, rescuing shuttlecraft, and crushing Terrax's cosmic axe with little trouble, to having trouble stopping a slow moving boat.

HOWEVER, in the prior mini, he gave the Sentry fairly even power levels (the one he ALSO wrote, in case you haven't read it yet. I recommend it.)

The crazy mental stability argument has only been made by fans. So... (especially since you love that on paper stuff, I'll use that as mine this time, because I can easily go into other reasons why the Sentry has troubles) you're reaching for a reason that's not really there.

Its the truth though. If a train was out of control, you wouldn't see Thor stop it with his bare hands, you'd see him use mjolnir to teleport or something to that resort. He rarely uses brute strength but uses mjolnir in most situations. I'd love to see Thor attempt to move a small moon or strike the earth with his bare fist to see if he can cause an earthquake just to see his strength range.

There's a BETTER reason why he teleports stuff over just stopping it.

Well, an example. What if a train hit a mountain? It would be comparable to Thor just stopping a train in a relatively short time and distance.

When will we see Ultimate Sentry?

We have, in a sense.

Ultimate Sentry is a sattelite that caught the first glimpses of Gah Lak Tus. (Which is still far more science geek friendly than Galactus. Though Galactus is definitely cooler.)

Thor HAS used his fists in the past. However, he was pretty much restrained to that dumb sixty second time limit that kept him as Thor without the hammer. And really, Thor isn't about the, "Well, I should be able to beat him with my hands." He's more like, "I shalt smite thee with mine hammer sacred, Mjolner!!!!" (I love the Norweigian spelling for the hammer, so what?)

bump. Crap man! When is the next issue coming out? This is what ticks me off wit Marvel! It takes them so long to put out an anticipated comic that its sickening!

Anticipating it in the first place is the problem here.

I hope it does come out tomorrow! And no, I really don't think anyone in the Ultimates universe could compete with Hyperion. Isn't Hulk and Thor supposedly 20 ton max? I don't even think any of them can deal with Power Princess. The Ultimates are to watered down from their 616 counterparts. Quicksilver and Cap. are the only ones who are more powerful than all their other universe counterparts.

sorry to burst you bubble guys but the marvel site is saying UP #2 won't be out until the 29th.

See that's what the f I'm talking about! All those freakin X books come out on time but books that really are in demand, Marvel makes you wait! If Marvel knew how good Anillation was, they'd purposely delay it. Well there's my rant for today. I feel so much better. :)

Wow! Am I the only one reading this book?! Noone else seems to be posting about it.
Anyway this book has more action but its complete bs. I know SS didn't have complete control of their powers but their's no way the Marvels would've manhandled all of them like they did. This is coming from a Marvel zombie! All the fights were completely one sided! Anyway, did anyone else read this book?

i read it. their bodies had to adjust to the new dimension. that's why they were one-sided. the Squadron couldn't access their full powers. that's why Mark was able to dance all over the Thing's face after his ability to speak returned. but the art, in parts, made it look like the Squadron were being beaten up even though they weren't actually fighting anyone. ex. in one scene, the Shape is doubled over in pain but there is no Ultimate character anywhere near him or even aiming in his direction.

I think it was meant to imply that he had either just been hit, or was beung effected by Sue's force fields.

I picked it up today but I'v been busy and havent been able to read it yet.

Given the last ultimate crossover, i was somewhat hesitant to pick this one up. Ish 1 was slow and the same ol woe is me from the thing speel. But ish 2 fired on all cylinders!! action packed my fav scene was
the Thor/hyperion battle. when thor starts speaking to hyperion, and then hype just blows into him, i laughed my ass off. but it seems hyperion is stronger than ult thor. kinda makes me wonder about a ult hulk/hyperion match-up? and where was collosuss?

As much as I think SS could've wiped the floor with F4, they are about to get the stuffings beat out of them! You've got F4, Ultimates, Xmen, and Spiderman coming at you. One on one I don't think any of them could've taken down Hyperion but all those characters are sure to wear the man of steel down.
