His own people-he is a vanir, so it`s only natural to stay with your people(and family as it stated in the children's book) to help them rebuild and restore after the war. So...not even close. It`s like if no matter what happened on Vanaheim and with his family Hogun would run away to Asgard because he have a girl there who he desperate to bang. Very mature.

Your last sentence is a good description of your post, seeing how you so desperately try to angle the descriptions to suit your point. Not very flattering to your argument.

Thor's arc is that he starts out doing what is required of him instead of doing what he wants, then realizes that he doesn't think he has what it takes to be a ruler and therefor gives up his claim to do what his heart wants, only keeping the role as defender of Asgard.

Yeah, that surprises me. But who knows how it changes during the course of the film. In Avengers, there were 3 different variations of his armor, and that was over a really short period of time.

That said, I think the T:TDW costume with the tunic was his best look yet, so I'm glad that they're keeping it.

I just hope Thor gets to really shine in this film. He had a couple great moments in Avengers. But i just want to see more creativity with his powers. More weather manipulation. Maybe him discovering a new power with Mjolnir, like manipulating energy or matter. Mjolnir can be so much more than a hammer that shoots lightning.

I agree. I'm sure he isn't going to get anywhere near the most screen time, and I can live with that as long as he does awesome things with the time he is given. He should be utilized as the powerhouse he is, and it can be done without just being "Hulk with a hammer" (i.e. he can use more than strength). I'd love to see him create a massive storm, like a hurricane or something.

I could see him destroying/holding off a whole heap of Ultron bots in some creative way while other members of the team try to take down the real Ultron, or something like that.
