If in the MCU she's stronger than Thor, I'll be rather peeved tbh. Won't stop me watching the films though.
"Dr. Banner, please calm down... Dr. Banner.......... Thor, get Ms. Marvel quick!"

Yeah, I'd fanrage.

It's only hype. She's powerful, no doubt, but she should be nowhere close to Thor, for example.

I'd bet that they go all girl-power and ditch Mar-Vell, or make him an Obi-Wan, in Carol's story, and make her essentially be not only as powerful as Carol is traditionally depicted in the comics, but also as powerful as comic-book Mar-Vell. Mar-Vell is a *very* powerful cosmic force, and one of the few known to be capable of defeating Thanos. So yeah, if Carol acquires Mar-Vell levels of power, she could legitimately kick MCU Thor's ass (not easily, of course).

I'm very curious to find out on what Wanda made Thor see in his vision seeing as how the leaked clip of Tony and Steve cutting wood mentioned that Thor was pretty shaken up by it.

He was shown an image of a broken Mjolnir, with little parts inside all stamped "STARK INDUSTRIES"...

Or

He's married to Darcy.

Ragnarok?

Probably Loki sitting on the Asgardian throne disguised as Odin.

But then he would just leave and go back to Asgard. Unless he doesn't believe it.

Doesn't Cap say that? Said Thor went looking for answers, or something like that....sounds like he meant far, far away. A trip anywhere else on Midgard would've only taken Thor minutes or seconds...

Selvig? And whilst the trip maybe quick, it doesn't mean speaking to whoever is quick, or that he isn't then trapped or attacked by the Ultron or something.

Who knows, but I don't know if suddenly in the middle/ early on in the film that Thor is just going to leave the scene and go back to Asgard.

This film is pretty much the only time we'll ever get to see Thor shine without Loki potentially overshadowing him since the latter is not in the film.

Thor nevers get overshadowed to me, because I actually find his MCU personality "necessary" to convey his maturity.

I just want to see Thor end Loki once and for all and in a brutal way...
He is responsible for both of Thor's parents death for heavens sake..
No more redemption side show...

Unlikely when it says he a key role in both Infinity War parts.

I was hoping Thanos killed him in IW1 tbh.

For me Loki shouldn't have been in TDW that much, or he should have been more evil, so his redemption in Ragnarok was much more effective.

Cool video! So with the news that Ragnarok is going to be Phase 3's key movie,do you think Thor will have a bigger role in AOU than what we originally thought?

Also notice that in the credits Hemsworth has replaced Evans at the second position

Meh...Might be just me wanting to think that Loki didn't kill Odin, but I don't really think he killed his parents. Loki isn't responsible for Frigga's death, definitely not deliberately at least. As for Odin, it isn't really confirmed what Loki did to Odin, who had been showing signs of weakness and stress throughout TDW, suggesting that maybe Loki managed to push him into the Odinsleep again? Like in the first Thor? The next movie will have to throw light on that.

I still wish, without really believing, that Marvel would give MCU Loki a proper redemption. He should have stayed dead in TDW when he saved Thor.

This has been posted in a few other threads, but I don't think it's been posted here and it deserves to be. Hemsworth gets Thor's reaction right on the nose with this, just that fall of his face as he sees Mjolnir nudge ever so slightly, he nails it :funny:

It's nice to see Thor still has some of that cocky show-off side he had in the first movie. LOL Thor may have learned some humility since then, but this shows it'd probably still wound his pride if someone else could move Mjolner as well.

Whoa! I didn't notice that. If the order of the names really is indicative of how big their roles are, that would be a very pleasant surprise.

Now, is this just an assumption we make, or does this really mean his role is larger? How does this compare to the other films?

I would like to see a movie featuring Thor where Hemsworth is clean shaven. The bearded look is getting a little stale.

Well, judging by the credits here, I guess the whole thing about Hawkeye being a major player in this one is just a lie. He's going to be in this about as much as he was in the last Avengers. And Robert Downey Jr not just being the first name mentioned, his name is above the Avengers logo, so he is going to dominate the shiznit out of this movie.

I guess James Spader as Ultron is just a 5 minute cameo then.

The whole thing about names and billing doesn't really make sense, especially for a movie of this scope.

The most experienced/veteran actors get the "with" and "and" labels at the end of the credits. That's why at the end of the first Thor, the credits ended with "and Anthony Hopkins as Odin," or the TWS ones "with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury." So in this movie, Spader and Jackson fit that bill. As for the beginning of the credits, they tend to put their biggest/most famous actors first.
