Then where the hell are Fantomex's legs?
It's better than how he usually draws waists. It looks like it could possibly/maybe support Psylocke's chest as opposed to most definitely snap in half like how he usually draws.haha, check out Psylocke's waist there
and why not? Apocalypse isnt the god like character he was in the 80s/early 90s. He's been pretty much a joke for the last decade or so.Interesting team. But none of them are heavy hitters. Well, not heavy hitting enough to take out someone like Apocalypse.

Pretty much. Apocalypse is a weak old man who needs a vessel to take over to sustain his power and make him strong. They kill him when he's at his weakest before he gets a change to claim a new vessel. When the team last saw him, he said he'd be back when the girl (Hope) was ready. Well now that she's a teen and her powers are active, he might be planning on using her. If X-force can stop him before he gets a chance to merge with her, he have a good shot at defeating him. If he did, then forget it, he would be god like and a major force to be reckoned with. What are they gonna do? Shoot him to death? Slice him up with their blades?
Maybe Archangel has some anti-Apocalypse macguffin because he's re-embraced his metal winged, murderous psycho side.

no he's not a kid. He's still an evil old man, but he eventually exhaustes his powers to the point where he needs to claim new vessels in order to sustain himself. In Messiah War, he was very weak and near death and Archangel had the chance to kill him, which he didnt. To be fair at the end of the story, he took on Stryfe as his new host, who himself is very powerful. X-force however doesnt know that. Who knows how long he's been running on that bc it happened in the future. He may be coming back to the past for a recharge.I see. So they've gotta get him whilst he is still a kid? Could be an interesting story about morality, if done right. I like Remender so i'll give this book a chance.
Actually you may be glad to know that you are incorrect on that one. Remender seems to have a good grasp on these characters and the history involved. It looks like the former Gen Xer may be showing up as they hunt Apocalypse sometime further in the futureApocalypse is back. Betcha by golly wow, nobody's going to bring up Chamber and that subplot that's been sitting on a perpetual back-burner since New Excalibur.
One final piece of X-Questioning comes from coolbeans74, who is what I'm assuming is a legion of "Generation X" fans on the boards. He asks, "i just read that 'Uncanny X-force' is going to be dealing with Apocalypse, is there any chance that Jonothan Starsmore will be appearing? He was last seen as (the slightly crappy) Decibel in the New Warriors, but he has an Apocalypse connection. and if so would it be possible for him to be re-powered back to his original omega level incarnation as Chamber? Always looking for ways to get british Marvel characters back in regular books"
Alonso: I'm going to turn this over to "Uncanny X-Force" writer Rick Remender:
Remender: Chamber is, in my opinion, the very best character to come out of "Generation X." As a Yankee married to a Brit, I'm also something of an anglophile. So, yes, the idea of seeing Chamber return is one I've considered, especially considering the resurgence of Apocalypse and clan Akkaba. However, while I don't want to give anything away, there won't be time to touch base with Mr. Starsmore in the first arc. That's not to say we won't see him later, but this first arc is loaded up with so much new stuff, so many revelations, so much fast action, so much of Apocalypses new plan and new place in the MU, I'm afraid there won't be time. That said, there is so much amazingly crazy stuff being seeded in this first arc, Akkaba stuff to be specific, I wouldn't be surprised if things, one day, lead the Uncanny X-Force to a run in with Chamber.
lol..Im not going to touch the coloring of that arc. I didnt have issues with that but throughout it Elixir's hair was depicted as blueSo... did the colorist just want to challenge himself by limiting his color palette to white/gray and various shades of blue for that page? 'Cause damn, that is some pretty boring coloring...
So in other words, Remender has absolutely no plans for Chamber, but there's a chance he might one day consider the possibility of thinking about using him.

And he's married to a British lady, so he totally loves Chamber by default even more than you do.So in other words, Remender has absolutely no plans for Chamber, but there's a chance he might one day consider the possibility of thinking about using him.
Apocalypse has so much history with so many characters. They cant just throw everything into this title. Remender at least acknowledged that theres something untapped with Chamber and that he has interest in eventually exploring it, but that theres no space to handle that in the first arc. He first needs to establish the core team and then theres Havok and Polaris to deal with. If and when he gets around to Chamber, I dont expect it to be till after the 2nd or 3rd arc. Cebulski also hinted that Chamber could be showing up. I think people are just going to have to waitSo in other words, Remender has absolutely no plans for Chamber, but there's a chance he might one day consider the possibility of thinking about using him.
