Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Q4 this year was the expected release date, so if they're saying spring 2016 now then it's just half a year at most but that's still a lengthy delay.

I meant the game's coming out in about a year (or slightly over) from now (rather than that the delay is a year).

If it means the game will be properly polished in quality,I don't mind at all! There's still other games I'm looking forward to this year and so not likes its all ruined.

Exactly plenty of ther stuff to keep busy with. Plenty of games and plenty of other movies, TV shows, daily activities etc that will occupy my time until spring 2016 haha.

A buddy and myself have been thinking that a trilogy remaster is coming. LOU remaster was a success, why not do it with Uncharted. They're also releasing soon an Art of The Uncharted trilogy book. I think you're right we will hear an announcement at E3.

I hope all the rumoured collections end up happening. Halo we already have but would love Mass Effect, Gears & Uncharted too.

Saw this coming, but it is still disappointing. After TLoU, they got a second release window to use when they please. ND is the kind of company that works to the wire, so hopefully this helps.

Golden Abyss isn't exactly a good game, especially gameplay wise. Don't think they'd want to include it.

I dunno...I'm personally fine with it, but I could see it being an issue for Sony. Not a BIG problem, but I don't doubt that they're gonna move less consoles than they'd hope in the fall/winter of 2015 now that their big exclusive isn't going to be on sale to convince people to get a PS4. It's certainly not going to destroy Sony or anything, but it definitely will impact PS4 sales. Releasing a PS4 collection of Uncharted 1-3 would certainly help fill that void, though.

Does Sony even have any major first party exclusive for the PS4 this fall? I dont think so. It'll be 2 years in a row where their offering is lackluster on that front

I too wouldn't be surprised if they do like a Nathan drake collection. There's actually speculation of a lot of those going around right now. GoW Marcus fenix collection and a ME trilogy remastered to be announced at e3.

But I'll be pleasantly surprised if they give us something different for thanksgiving/Christmas. As far as GT7 goes, I suppose a GT7 prologue is possible.

probably sucks for SE in another way bc I always felt they took the MS deal so that they wouldnt have TR go head to head with UC on the PS4. Now with the game nowhere in sight this fall, they could have easily sold a ton of units without that competition

i honestly didn't think they were gonna do a nathan drake collection beforehand, but I think now they'll consider it because of the delay. but a marcus fenix collection I was much more sure of. the ME trilogy was also more likely because bioware themselves said they were exploring it.

I am thinking they had to have been paid a pretty penny to go timed exclusive with Microsoft. That more then makes up for it.

No there are not "plenty reasons" for me at all. The only next gen games I care about are Uncharted, the next Gears, whatever Rockstar does next, and Arkham Knight. And Im fine to wait until the price goes down on the systems for Arkham Knight and even Uncharted 4

As other said, it's pretty par for the course or whatever the phrase is for video games.

I actually don't mind them getting delayed...in theory. If they keep getting delayed and theyre still released with a crapton of glitches then that's a big deal for me.

Well Halo Reach and ODST are the reason for that. There have been no Uncharted games without Drake. He is the main character of the next game as well. So it is a bit off.

No there are not "plenty reasons" for me at all. The only next gen games I care about are Uncharted, the next Gears, whatever Rockstar does next, and Arkham Knight. And Im fine to wait until the price goes down on the systems for Arkham Knight and even Uncharted 4

more power to ya then. by then it's feasible the Ps4 will have had its first price cut.

it's not off seeing as how he is the protagonist of all 3 games. not saying it's gonna be called that officially definitely not but I don't see a wrong in referring to it like this either.
