Universal Studios to make WW2 film about German Battleship Bismark

Not from its POV I assume.

Could be interesting, just hope hollywood doesn't try to Americanize the story like they are so fond of doing with WW2 films.

Telling it from the perspective of the Bismarck's crew would be an interesting way to go. And freaking depressing.

During the darkest hours of WWII, a British naval officer, raw from the loss of his ship, is thrust into the thick of the hunt for the most formidable Nazi battleship to ever set sail: the Bismarck.

If I remember Kenneth More's characters had a similar back story in the old film, if I remember he is also a Captain who lost his ship and is in his current position while waiting for a new command, so is possible that the new film might be a lot like the 1960 film.

I'd prefer that it be from the German POV. If you're going to make a movie about the Bismarck, make a movie about the Bismarck. Not "we're making a movie about the Bismarck told from the POV of the people who sank it." Especially since we already got that movie back in 1960.
