Besides The Hobbit, The Avengers and the new Sherlock Holmes...there's nothing else I want to go out to the movies to see.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II
John Carter
The Hunger Games
Mirror Mirror
Snow White and the Huntsman

Underworld
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Twilight
Men In Black 3

That's just off the top of my head. Not sure what else is coming out.

TDK pretty much squashed any real interest I had in seeing another Batman film. I'll probably eventually get around to seeing it(same with Amazing Spider-Man) but I'm not waiting with baited breath for them. I'd say I'm more interested in ASM than TDKR since I at least have some curiosity about what a non-raimi Spidey movie will be like(and I am NOT a big fan of his Spidey films).

Are you not curious about TDKR because you didn't like TDK, or is it because you like TDK so much that you think TDKR will fail?

Wow, lots of votes for John Carter. Was it the new trailer that put people off, or was there a general dearth of interest in that film for a while?

Anyway... I don't care if people are interested in TDKR or not, but I have to say, I'm getting sick of hearing people claim that it's going to suck just because the Joker isn't in it. Yes, the Joker is everyone's favorite Batman villain and yes, Heath Ledger gave us the definitive Joker. But the Joker isn't the main character; Batman is. There have been thousands of great Batman stories that didn't feature the Joker at all, or at the most featured him as a side character. There is absolutely no reason to think that TDKR won't be any good because the Joker won't be there.

I probably will end up watching TDKR(for closure) but TDK pissed me off in a unique way that only one other superhero film ever has(AngHulk). As to your question, it's the former.

I really couldn't care less about the Avengers and the majority of next year's summer films. TDKR, Spider-Man, and Prometheus are really the only films in which I have any interest.

I've not seen anything from the trailers that interests me. I might go see it with low expectations and be surprised but right now the anticipation isn't there.

Underworld- I'm not really interested in those. I haven't even seen the last one.

Oldboy (remake) - It doesn't seem necessary.

The Three Stooges- It looks doomed.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D- It's weird to do a sequel after a reboot , not sure how I feel about this but I've seen it before.

21 Jump Street. **** Jonah Hill for killing what could've been a great premise.

That goes triple for the ****ing Farrelly Bros. and their ****-looking "Three Stooges".

New Years Eve movie.

It didn't work with Valentine's Day.

It only works with English people. (Love Actually)

I don't dig movies about man on horse intimacy.

War Horse seems like a decent flick but it does emit that awkward love story.

Much as I'm looking forward to Prometheus, my concern about it is that they retroactively ruin Alien by explaining away all the mystery, thus destroying it forever.

i will never get comments like this. alien will still be the same brilliant movie, not a single sequel or prequel can ever take that away. it's all in the eye of the beholder, if you still want the mystery then just disregard everything but alien when you watch it.

Mirror Mirror (will see it for my Mom though, looks alright)
Twilight (gouge my eyes out first!)
Contraband (what's happening to Marky Mark's career choices?)

As a Spider-Man fan, I have no admit that I've expressed very little interest in The Amazing-Spiderman. I don't know why. The director is great, the cast is great, I'm thrilled to bits that they're finally using the mechanical webshooters, and I love that they're finally using The Lizard as the villain (who I've been begging for for years).

But as far as genuine enthusiasm for the film, I've had next to none. Maybe it's because I can't reconcile with that God-awful costume. Or maybe it's because I have little interest in seeing the origin story again so soon. For whatever reason, I barely frequent a board that I used to spend quite a bit of time on during the Spider-Man 2 days.

I mainly am sick of the origin rehash too, especially since its not in the avengers continuim of the other marvel films cept X men. Why bother.

Exactly. Screw that BS. I want to KNOW!!

Movies I have no interest in seeing, ever, not even for free on TV:

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
The Adventures of Tintin
Scary Movie 5
Dark Shadows
Battleship
Snow White & the Huntsman
The Twilight Saga
47 Ronin

Movies I could care less about, but might watch them on free TV:

MI: Ghost Protocol
Underworld: Awakening
The Three Stooges
MIB III
Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
Jack the Giant Killer
Brave
GI Joe: Retaliation
Resident Evil: Retribution
Les Miserables

Movies I'm very intrigued by, but will probably wait for pay-per-view/DVD:

The Darkest Hour
War Horse
Red Tails
Chronicle
The Raven
The Hunger Games
Wrath of the Titans
Rock of Ages
The Bourne Legacy
Total Recall
Dredd
Red Dawn

Movies I absolutely cannot wait to see in theaters:

The Avengers
Prometheus
TDKR
The Hobbit
The Amazing Spider-Man
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
John Carter
The Expendables 2
Skyfall
World War Z
Django Unchained

Man, this thread is depressing. :csad:

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

These, especially The Amazing Spider-Man, The Hobbit and Prometheus. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance I might see just for the heck of it.

Definitely the Underworld and Resident Evil sequels that Hollywood keeps crapping out like it has dysentery. Who the hell goes to see these movies? Granted, I've only seen the first film in each series, but I was smart enough to stop after that. Also, I still have no idea why they made a Ghost Rider sequel.

Others...

Mirror Mirror
Twilight 5
The Hunger Games
Wrath of the Titans
Indy 5
Contraband
The Sitter
Battleship
The Darkest Hour
Brave
Ice Age: Continental Drift

And virtually any movie starring any of the following actors in lead roles: Channing Tatum, Jessica Alba, Taylor Lautner, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Lopez and Eddie Murphy.

Indy 5?

Nobody know the origins of the comic strip or whatever that this would only interest Spielberg fans and that's only because his name is attached, kids will probably think it's another Polar Express and stay far away.
