J.J. Abrams
down) Star Trek sequel, I'm already tired of hearing about it.

I want to see the Amazing Spidey, I like Andrew Garfield. But I am not terrible excited about it.
The re-do of origin completely puts me off. I'm not that interested in another Spidey film where the first hour or so is almost the same as what we've seen before. Just replace Goblin with Lizard and MJ with Gwen.
Can you imagine immediately after Nolan finishes TDKR, WB reboots it with another origin story about Batman's beginnings as he trains around the world?
Much like Inception, I'm pretending TDKR doesn't exist, I'm forcing myself not to look forward to it, so when I walk into the theatre mind = blown.
Really...because I'm like thisTo be honest, I'm not really feeling the Avengers that much. After the initial wow factor of the trailer, I find the teaser underwhleming. Hopefully the full trailer will be better.
It's funny considering that I found all of the individual Marvel movie trailers to be pretty good.
Tin Tin - looks boring
^Not a fan of the movies, but I do like them enough to see this one.
And what a difference 10 years later makes back in 2001 when these boards were called Spider-ManHype and the twin tower teaser came out I was trying to absorb every bit of info from casting, costume, plot development. Also, the new Spider-Man movie looks awful, so I'm not really interested in that. (I also think that a reboot was probably the worst idea they could have had).
But that one's just an easy target...Here's another one:

You couldn't pay me to go see this movie.
But that one's just an easy target...
Are you kidding? There are people here that are actually looking forward to Ghost Rider?

Yup! The fact it's such an easy target makes me hate it all the more, though.
Presumably, someone in Hollywoodland thought investing $250,000,000 in a ****ing Battleship movie was a good idea! And that guy... that guy needs dick-punched.
Honestly in the style of The Hunt For Red October and Crimson Tide a Battleship movie would be fantastic. In it's current form it's a disgrace to humanity.
I think you might be on to something, that would certainly be more acceptable at least.
I think one of the reasons i hate the idea of a Battleship movie though, is that it's part of a bigger a problem, a pretty serious one: Everythng Hollywood makes these days has to be an adaptation or remake or a *shudders* reboot.
And now it seems to've gotten to the point were they're just slapping any old crap together, gluing a recognisable brand name to it and saying "There! Look! We made totally made a Battleship movie!" Regardless of whether or not it has anything really to do said Brand name.

There's nothing wrong with that. A lot of movies have been adaptations. I mean, look at the movies that have been considered the greatest of all time.
Citizen Kane - Pretty much biopic of William Randolph Heart
The Godfather - Based of a novel
Casablanca - Based off a play
Gone with the Wind - Based off a novel
Wizard of Oz - based off a novel
On the Waterfront - based of an article series
Bridge on the river kwai - based on a novel
Inspiration can come from anywhere.
