Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman

Do you guys think this version of The Invisible Woman will experience nosebleeds when she strains to use her powers? I get that it's "comic accurate" but that was one visual detail from the earlier films I could do without. :dizzy:
I would hope not. Makes her seem weak.

Don't want that at all. Plus it isn't really comic accurate, and wasn't a thing until the 05 film.

If the strain was too much she usually passed out in the comics before that film

She was an absolute queen. I get invisible woman is a tough sell for an actress to take on because if people just look at her surface they think she’s a dull character but Vanessa was amazing at giving Sue depth and just a tiny bit of resentment which is my favourite Sue

She was so fierce and her speech at the crucial period of the story was legendary, thats going to go down as a moment in the MCU.

For a characters that isnt the most exciting compared to some of the others Kirby elevated her to a whole new level and even though everyone in the team contributed she was the MVP in the end.

She also seems to really love the character from interviews and wants to explore the whole Malice side of her persona too. Certainly gets me excited for the future female characters to come for the X-Men in Storm, Jean and most of all Rogue.

Perfect casting.

LONG time fan of Kirby everything I saw her in I liked she was AWESOME as the First Lady of Marvel and as the one user above said she was the heart of this film they are NOT wrong she knocked out of the park and out of the solar system she is just fantastic (no pun intended :hehe: ).

Vanessa was a force to be reckoned with, she was writing so well. I was impressed by the strength of character and her unshakable resolve to protect her child. That speech was powerful and heartfelt. I also loved seeing her powers displayed like a light prism watching her force fields push Galactus was an impressive visual effect 👏🏻 💙 👌🏻

I think I'm gonna add "We are a family" in my expressions, and then say it a very deep tone, like Sue in the movie.

saw her figure at Target today I just had to grab her, they only had 2 others Mr Fantastic (who has a dead on likeness to Pedro if you ask me) and an all fire and translucent version of Human Torch. I love that she has that invisible shield effect that plugs into her hand and has the effects of bullets hitting it in random spots.

It's amazing how either none of us or almost none of us thought of Kirby in the role and now I can't really imagine anyone else. She possessed ALL the qualities that I've always imagined Sue to have. I really hope she becomes a staple to the general audience the way Evans is to Cap and RDJ is to Tony, I loved her as Sue.

I agree with that person I would have not thought of her as Sue but dammit she nailed every aspect of the character period

Kirby was my choice out of the rumored names a few years back so I was glad that she was actually cast. I'm happy to say that she didn't let me down here.
