A simple handgun and one clip of ammo. Why would any civilian need to keep any more than that at home for self defence. Things like scopes, silencers and automatic weapons being sold to the public at all seems very sinister to me. As well as one person being able to buy multiple guns and a tonne of ammo.

Those politicians pocketed too much money from NRA; they don't want to do anything to jeopardize their future campaign fund, even at the cost of more lives lost. That Las Vegas gunman could have killed a school bus full of children and they'd still act like it's just another day in America.

I truly think we are now at the point where a good number of mass murderers don't have any cause or ideology whatsoever -- they are simply trying to win the high score.

Can't win at the Olympics, bowl a 300, climb Mt Everest, run a marathon or win Daytona? Maybe you can kill more people than anybody in US history -- but you have to do better still if you want to catch Anders Brevik -- he's on the gold medal platform with 71.

Your life sucks because you're mediocre not because 3 percent of the population is black/poor or a tiny fraction of the population are Muslim terrorist. Or because migrants are "stealing" your dream jobs.

You're life sucks because you vote against people trying to raise wages, lower college cost, cover the sick, stop pollution, etc. You vote against them because most of your tax money supposedly goes to unemployed blacks rather than the sick, the military, the elderly, the working poor, education and infrastructure. Since it's harder to villify those groups and causes.

Maybe because I live with mostly a Blue liberals around me, I know of only a tiny few gun people and they dont have much beyond what they need to protect the house or to hunt what they eat. Certainly no arsenals.
