I can agree almost to the full on this... But I actually wouldn't mind seeing Carnage in a future spider-man 4.GoldGoblin said:^Because the entire story of this movie is about the symbiote, and how it effects Peter's life. And for Venom dying is a way for Peter to defeat the symbiote.
It would make no sense having the symbiote in any shape or form in S-M4,there would be no story for it,if you made up a story for it,it wouldn't be any better than the symbiote story that we seen in S-M3,and moviegoers wouldn't want to see another symbiote story, and a half a** one at that.
These movies are about Peter, not about symbiotes and their hosts.
chaseter said:How would they make a valid Venom spinoff anyways? Having Venom as the main character against other villians would be dumb IMO.
SamuraiSon6 said:i dont think a venom spinoff is very valid, it would be purely a fan pleasing money maker.......personally
venom and spidey will fight the biggest battle ever, if brock livees and goes to jail, then maybe venom will be in a future sequel.Naite22 said:I have a pretty strong gut felling that there will be a major badass battle sequence between spidey and Venom in the very end... yet Eddie WILL lose the symbiote in the end! But the symbiote it self won't go away.. they'll bring it back for the next movie (some day)... and we'll see carnage.

I agree 100% Golden, this is how I see it for the film.

I seriousily doubt there's going to be any Venom, or symbiote related plotlines in SM-4, but the Q&A said the symbiote lives, take it as you will.
These movies are about Peter, not about symbiotes and their hosts.
No really? I never realized that, I thought the movies were about Peter and the great pizza delivery gig.

[blackout]Eddie is supposed to die, along with Harry (pretty much confirmed) and Aunt May...although MJ could bite the dust as well[/blackout]venom4life said:They said Eddie Brock dies and [blackout]the symbiote lives[/blackout], take it as you will.

rockportspidey said:Dude, unless it's rated R, there isn't going to be any Carnage in the Spidey movies. The symbiote story is too repetitive and Carnage would walk down the street and kill 50 people at once and walk away whistling a Willie Nelson tune.
It's not going to happen. Raimi really had to be convinced to add Venom, there's no way in hell Carnage will be involved.
Giuse86 said:I like the Idea of making the Venom Spinoff about Venom and Carnage. By doing so Spider-man would be a supporting actor instead of Venom and The spin off could include both. I mean, why does it have to be part of the Spider-man sagas if it could just as well make for a cool Venom spinoff.
Right?
besides maybe they could set the stage between the time of Spider-man 4 and 5
Be like a "Spider-man 4.5" =P
if brock lives then he is going to jail and the symbiote will live also, i he does live, venom will probably return in a future sequel, the symbiote pretty much cant die, either way the symbiote will live, sandman is in the final battle, the picture of spidey being choked by venoks web proves it, there sand on spideys body.Drago said:I've got to disagree.... I think it would be cool for 'dark spidey' to kill sandman halfway through (and so far it seems like a possibility).... if that's the case, it would be pretty important for Spidey to show some mercy at the end and not kill Brock- PLUS killing Brock doesn't mean killing the symbiote, so it wouldn't accomplish much or separate him from the 'darker' aspects present in him for the first half of the flick
Just my opinion... I think it would be cool to develop Eddie more over a few films (like Harry), and not just kill him at the end here for some superficial closure
yeah, if they uised carnage in a spidey sequel then they would have toi change some of the things carnage does to people, especially killing people, hes a violent character that what he does would need to be changed a little, venom is the best though, carnage cant compare to venom, carnage would still kill people, but sam would have to tone it down so that there is no blood and not as violent.NewYorkSpider said:Carnage was in a Saturday morning cartoon and he didn't kill 50 people down the street.

if carnage was ganna be in a spidey movie then he couldnt go around stabbing people, they wouldnt be able to show it, it would have to be rated-R, the spidey movies should remain pg-13, carnage is one of the most violent spidey villians out there, they would have to make carnage not kill in a violent way, maybe wack across the room or something like that.rockportspidey said:And they didn't do the character justice either. And they made the storyline was some interdimensional badass created the offspring so that Carnage and Venom could work together to get some jewel that made the interdimensional guy come to Earth. WEAK!
If you want to do Carnage justice, don't do him in a Saturday Morning Cartoon way
