World Venom Movie Script Is Done !

See with Venom, you gotta take into account his real appeal, the visual. Him facing off against a standard killer isn't gonna impress anyone.

You need some insane actions scenes in this film. Money shots you can put in the trailer to get people excited.

That's why I think Carnage is the way to go. The visual of these two monsters fighting from building to building, smashing through walls and windows, picking up cars and throwing them at each other would be THE selling point for me, and a lot of other people I imagine.

Might just do. I dunno. :cwink:

No, it wouldn't. What would stop Venom from squishing his head the moment he caught him? And what danger could be possible pose to him? I wouldn't want an entire movie that is nothing but a cat and mouse game. Carnage makes it personal, since he originated from him. The Jury are a team highly technologically advanced enforcers. The Sin-Eater is a dude with a shotgun.

Why would Venom even care in the first place about a lousy serial killer?

Ace, you always make brilliant points. :awesome:

That's what I think as well. If Venom looks awesome, has an epic fight scene with Carnage in the trailer, fitting music, looks dark, it's going to do well most likely. :woot:

But I could see this just being one movie, I doubt were going to get a trilogy out of this. I mean it's possible, but I just hope we get one good one is all.

Why? The visual of Venom and Carnage fighting across the New York skyline in live action would be immense.

And with a brutal anti hero like Venom, you need a villain so despicable to have that contrast. Carnage is the only one who fits the bill.

It will make the audience have to choose the lesser of two evils.
Y'know, Venom vs Carnage really remind me of the T-800 vs T-1000 dynamic. A strong looking guy versus a more skinny looking one, whereas the skinny one is even more dangerous, stronger and deadly.
T-1000 can also make more weapons with his body, while T-800 can't. Like Carnage's symbiote can and Venom can't.

I smell lawsuit. :awesome:

There was one aspect of the TAS Carnage I really liked...the way he mockingly called Venom "Dad". I thought that was a nice touch. Wouldn't mind that sorta banter being in the movie...if it gets made and if Carnage is in it of course.

Alright, you guys have me, Carnage could appear in it... :D

It's really the only logical choice. Anyone else is pretty much forgettable.

^^ Agreed. And that includes Toxin, though, he's defenitely not the worst.

Toxin was forgotten in the Marvel realm. I wonder what they're planning for him...if they are.

If it were me I would go with the Jury..a lot of potential there

I just really can't stand carnage even though he is the most likey to apear in the movie

Topher is not able to gain enough weight required for the role. It would take years with his frame to reach a respectable size

From Reese's twitter:

@RhettReese Did you guys ever finish the Venom script?

Wow, and there were rumors that Sony wanted to bring Venom back for the reboot franchise and give him his own solo film eventually. Guess they weren't true.

I know a lot of other people didn't want to see this movie, but I did. I hope the script at least gets leaked sometime, I'd like to read it.

A Venom film has been planned for atleast a decade. The essential problem is that the concept makes no sense without Spider-Man's involvement. Venom is a monstrous reflection of Spidey. The other problem is who the movie is for, apart from comicbook fans. Without being very careful, you'd end up with something like the woeful Spawn movie.

Yea I never understood how a stand alone Venom film was going to work without at least a Spider-man cameo.Even then the premise is flimsy.
