Venom Venom: The Last Dance

I had mixed reactions and haven't seen the movie again since opening week but I did watched Venom and then VenomLTBC recently. I ended up enjoying LTBC much more on my 2nd viewing. I know people want these movies to fail but I'm glad VTLD is doing well or, at least better than expected. Hoping Kraven can be enjoyed as well.

Yeah I enjoyed this a lot and would definitely be down for more Venom movies. LTBC is still the best movie in the franchise for me but TLD isn't that far behind it.

The first half was a little rough but once Eddie gets to Vegas the movie picks up and doesn't really stop. The action was really good, and the movie had some nice emotional beats also. I hope Marcel directs more stuff.

Hardy brought the goods as always as Eddie and Venom. And it was cool seeing the other Symbiotes, though I couldn't name them all.

My only real disappointment was no Toxin with Mulligan. There was a new protagonist for the series right there.

7/10. It's obviously not the last time we see Knull either.

I mean sure it did pretty great numbers overall, compared to other movies this year and of course to its relatively low budget, but it also had a huge drop in North America box office and this time it had a big boost from China. The fact that it still made less money than the previous one which was released during the pandemic, at an extremely busy month and with no China, kind of shows a clear downwards trend. I'm hoping when Kraven inevitably flops, this whole universe will pretty much finally wither and die.

I'm hoping for that, too, but I wouldn't mind seeing Tom Hardy's Venom in the MCU at some point. Assuming Sony would allow it, that is.

Kevin Feige wants nothing to do with Venom or the Sony Spider-Man films. It's pretty clear.

It did okay for its budget... but imo, the numbers are quite underwhelming. I know box office this year is one of the worst in history despite some huge movies. But less than $150 million in North America. In comparison to other Marvel movies, Fantastic Four 2005 and X-Men First Class hit the $150 million mark in North America.

From 206 million (of the first two movies) to 139 million is a big drop off. I don't know what numbers Sony would expect when they release Venom: 4gent.

Watched it last night. Maybe it was my very low expectations after watching previous 2 movies (especially the 2nd one), but I found The Last Dance the most enjoyable movie of the trilogy. And the least cringey.

There was no growth with the box office numbers from Venom 2 to Venom 3.

Who knows whats the state of movie cinemas few years from now, but I doubt Venom 4 would be doing much better in 2027.
